Here ya go - I've deleted all the provocative descriptions of his conviction; and pros opinions that he should be drawn and quartered; tarred and feathered etc etc for their amusement; from the Uncensored article thread in the support section.
You guys can make those comments here for each other anyone interested to read. Board members have expressed concern and a wish that the rest of the area remain a safe area and a support forum.
Thanks for understanding. Remember; even here respect and the knowledge that all involved are human beings is expected....

I am often asked by my students to proofread their papers...I do not mind at all and I am happy to do it...The grade I gave was fair...
It takes time and effort to write, especially if you do not know how your audience will receive it...

I'm dyslexic and didn't make very good grades in English, so I think a C or whatever it was, was pretty good. I'll even settle for an F.....as long as we're changing peoples minds about the Death Penalty, I'll consider an F as FANTASTIC!!! Whooohooo! hugggz, Suzanne

"Writing is a community effort." Dr Mark Edmonds
If you are going to write for an audience, you need to choose the words and syntax that will lend weight to your position. Words are often more cutting than razors, hotter than a blast furnace, and that is why they are so powerful...
Ideas are even more powerful than words...

Be grateful you did not have the same English teachers I had...One used the entire alphabet, plus some for his grading scale...it went A to ZZ...
And I am a little dyslexic myself...Plus SLD...
Does not slow me down at all...

Whatever that means.....I damn near failed English. But I'll tell you this. We've got more positive responses than negative, that's for sure.....and still changing peoples views on the death penalty! yeah!!!!

It does deter them...Dead people do not commit crimes... And you can't bring back executed innocent dead people, either.

Neither do people locked in a cage with professional guards and corrections security and safety.
"But it COULD happen"
Yeah; and killing all teenagers would lessen teenage crime....
doesn't make it good social policy.

It does deter them...Dead people do not commit crimes... So I will go back to my question. If your mind is made up and you feel the way you do.... why do you waste so much time here?

1 deterrence - the act or process of discouraging actions or preventing occurrences by instilling fear or doubt or anxiety
(it can't discourage the person who has already committed the crime from committing the crime)
So the DP is not deterrence. Its bloodlust and anger.
