I bought it just because Scott was on the cover. The headline of course made me angry, "A Killer's Life Behind Bars". Just because an ignorant jury, the Modesto Police and Media convicted him does not mean that he is guilty.

Actually that is exactly what it means, he had a fair trial, 12 jurors of his peers, a high dollar lawyer, and the support of his lawyer's team, in this country you can't do much better than that. And in this country when you are convicted in this situation it means that you are guilty. |

That argument holds very; very little water here where many of us have long experience with cases of factual innocence as well as greviously wrongful conviction; often where someone has sat on death row for close to two decades; after a jury of their 'peers'...Thats a very, very, naive Pollyana view. You have NO idea of the extent of prosecutor and police misconduct in your country.

You never know when a jury might convict your innocent offspring. i dont really think hardcore pros really care WHO gets executed...guilty or not ...as long as they get ANYBODY executed its ok with them....just like the behavior of some serial killers huh? ...it doesnt matter who you kill as long as you got anybody you can kill... maybe thats why these kinds of pros hate inmates that much...they ´re too much like them and so they hate having to "look into the mirror" and see themselves ...reflections of their own wishes to kill...
