you know i find caring and respectful that a couple of you keep deleting my weird opinion, a forum is so you can post your opinions no matter how silly they are. i'm sorry you dont like what i say - nobody in my life does - but its not right for you to delete it because you dont like it. Tat- This is the sp area for discussion. Discussion has different meaning around here. If you want to debate sp - take it to the debate area. It might get moved back but at least you will have tried to follow the rules.

Hi Smoke, I understand your wanting Scott's picture on the magazine, I would have wanted it for that same reason so please don't think I'm being critical of you when I say what I'm going to say. The folks who write the garbage in those magazines don't care a fig about truth, or the person they are writing about, or how their opinions will hurt the one they are writing about, all they want is the green! When we buy what they write, even if that had nothing whatsoever to do with our purchase, it gives them the incentive to continue on. That's why as much as I wanted that picture I didn't buy it. It's why I won't buy Catherine Crier's book, Amber's book, Ablow's book and especially not Anne Bird's book, etc. Of all those writing books, Anne commited the worse sin in my opinion, as she is family. There are lines we should refuse to cross. Had the police had to demand her testimony I would have understood her telling the police whatever she found necessary, but to voluntarily help put family in the position Scott is in right now, well there's no excuse. In this society we can get our point across so much better by hitting those we wish to teach something, in the wallet. It seems to be the only way some feel pain, I find that especially true in rags that feed off of peoples sorrow as these kinds of magazines do. Just something to think about....Hugs I bought it just because Scott was on the cover. The headline of course made me angry, "A Killer's Life Behind Bars". Just because an ignorant jury, the Modesto Police and Media convicted him does not mean that he is guilty. |
