I have noticed some of you have asserted that scott peterson is innocent. I am curious what others think, regardless of your opinion on the DP.

I think that I want to base my opinions on the case materials and legal documentation on both sides - not Nancy Grace's opinion....
I think the media has become so invested in this case that the perspective we have been shown is skewed and I look forward to getting the page posted so that I (and all of us) can evaluate some of the evidence that has not been made available)...
then we can see it with clear eyes; like any other DR case; and not as some twisted celebrity thing. Maggie; Scott Peterson; and CCADP are working on it; so we can all have a more educated discussion on it soon....

I've voted guilty, i think he did it. There is no hard proof however so i don't rule out he didn't to it either. He shouldn't have been sentenced to death. I am not going to vote, because I do not know what to think.
I don't think Scott got a fair trial - that's for sure.
As far as being innocent or guilty - Only Scott, Laci & God know the answer to that.
I'd like to say that I think the CCADP is a great website for both the inmates, and their families and friends... but there is one thing that I think is (almost) offensive to Laci Peterson and her family.
On Scott's page there are pictures of both Scott & Laci togther - No one on here knows what happened that night, whether Scott did it or not... If he did do it, would you not be insulted by putting up pictures of what "was" Laci & Scott?
I mention this for one simple reason. Two years ago, my cousin was murdered by her husband, if I ever saw a picture of her and him together , AFTER he had been convicted of her murder I would be appalled.
I feel for Laci's family, as well as Scott and I think those pictures are disrespectful to her family.
IMO. ;D
I am not saying this to start an argument, I just think that it is inappropriate.

First - I am so sorry for your families loss  If you have any comments or insights to add to our victims area; that would be much appreciated (comments; resources you've found etc) The funny thing is; when the page went live and we were still waiting on whatever pics Scott wanted to post (they were on the way); people in the media interviewed us about it; and said "do't you think its offensive that there is no picture or mention of Laci ?" and my answer was; 'actually Mr Peterson is sending pictures; and I am sure when they are posted; people will attack us for posting pics of Laci" and so then they did. It truly is a case of damned if you do; damned if you don't. And like you said; since no one really knows what happened; what if he is in fact innocent? Then it would be compeletely appropriate for the innocent man wrongly convicted of his wife's murder to post happy photos of himself with his wife. The pages are the prisoners; and we post what the prisoner asks us to post on the page. We would only edit or refuse to post a prisoners page if it was racist; hateful; glorified a crime etc...if it is not; we do not make other restrictions. |

IMO I think that if I thought that Scott was guilty then it would be disrespectful to post a pic of Laci and Scott together... on the other hand.. we Dont really know alot about their marriage, like if they fought alot or they were abusive to each other in any way, if it wasnt a good marriage then I dont think that Laci's family would have supported him in the beginning. I know Scott cheated but sometimes I think its human nature for us to be deceitful(omg that sounds bad)sometimes. I think that Scott will have a new trial and I dont think he will be convicted the 2nd time around.. and looking at the pics that are posted of them together, they look very happy. I think that if they had a bad marriage then it would be disrespectful but Laci loved Scott and he apparently made her happy, so why not show pics of her, even with Scott, when she was happy
