HI MIKE THE POPULATION OF BLACK PEOPLE WHO ARE FOUND GUILTY BY A JURY ARE ALMOST GUARANTEED TO BE GIVEN THE DEATH PENALTY DUE TO POOR REPRESENTATION ALSO BLACK PEOPLE CANNOT AFFORD DECENT ATTORNEYS BECAUSE THEY ARE VERY POOR PEOPLE ALSO STATISTICS SHOW THAT THE MAJORITY OF PEOPLE ON TEXAS DEATH ROW ARE BLACK HMMMMMMM ???I WONDER WHY THAT MAY BE

Because people do not think about the future and accept responsibilty for their actions. People seem to want the easy way out and not WORK for what they want. Lack of education, lack of opprotunity, and no jobs in the neighborhood contribute as well.

When most of the businesses in the area are liquor stores, check cashing places that charge ruinous interest, convience stores, and the drug trade, people do not have a lot of chances. People get sucked into crime... It is a tragedy.

Wouldn't it be great if we could all get together to address some of those issues....? Instead of arguing about whether we should kill those who fall into the trap you describe?

People get sucked into crime... It is a tragedy. So it´s actually a society problem that causes many of these tragedies and then the same society solves it´s problems by execution...ain´t that a bit too easy not to say rather primitive? Mo-DAWG

Primative! Yeah, that's it. That describes the death penalty very well.
And the idea that the Death Penalty will solve problems by getting the poor, uneducated, non-white people off our street rather than fixing the problem....very primative.

Mike, Obviously you know nothing about me. You see my friend, I support ALL of the OTHER VICTIMS. In my work there are many unsolved murder cases that are called "cold cases", and in many of these cases YOUR prosecutors will not seek a "charge" due to LACK of EVIDENCE, or maybe not an election year. So, here is where I come in. Murdered victims that are not recognized by the SYSTEM that you so support will contact me and guess what? I work just as hard for them ONLY and I repeat ONLY if the Death Penalty is not on the table. Educate yourself as I have. Why do you only work as hard for the ones that have nothing to do with the death penalty?

I think she is saying that she does investigation for "the other" side also - as long as the death penalty isn't an issue. I'm sure Tina will correct me if I'm wrong

Here's one of the reasons Tina works for cases where the victim and prosecutor will agree to no death penalty if she is able to find enough info to convict the guy. The little girl in front of the prisoner here is Ricky Cartwright the little girl of the man who was executed the other night, Tina doesn't want to be part of making more innocent people; like little Ricky; victims...

I must not be understanding, because I am taking it as she does nothing (to me means, really doesnt bother to care that much) about the true victims unless there is no death penalty at stake.
