Got this via email from a websurfer this morning....its a good idea (reminiscent of our tourist boycott idea back in 1998 where we used their slogan "texas - its like a whole other country" and added " - like Iraq, like Iran, like the Sudan..."
someone emailed to say :
Tell people to call the TX Dept. of Tourism at 1-800-88-88-TEX and tell the operator that they will not visit TX until they stop killing people. I did, and it really pissed them off.
HEY its a good idea - in fact it would work in all states. Please; if anyone can find tourism numbers in other states please post them here. And let us know of the reaction you get when you call.
