Hy there!
Today I received the first letter from my penpal Paul. He is incarcerated in San Quentin, California.
I will be answering him this evening and I think about sending him some stamps. California allows stamps as far as I´m informed.
But I´m from Germany and I don´t know if german stamps are of use for Paul. Do you know if it has to be american stamps?
Thanks for your help! Nicky

That´s a great link. Thank you! I will have a look at once to find out if they are shipping to Germany! What stamps do I need to buy? How much should one be worth? Cheers! Nicky

Nicky,
In CA...... at least in my experience, the best way to send stamps is to send the envelope already pre-stamped from the PO.
If you would like me to get these to you in Germany..... PM me your address and I will send you the prestamped envelopes to send your pen-pal.
Although.... you may be able to order them on-line and have them sent right to the CA prison.....
Let me know if you need help!
Maggie
