It is so frustrating not being able to help as much as I'd like to. It is so frustrating to not understand. It is so frustrating to see how friends get weaker behind bars, ready to call it quits because they are never heard anyway. It makes frustrated a mild word. It is so, so, so frustrating to try to motivate attorneys to do their job. It is just so frustrating to feel like every step is like banging my head in the wall. I can only imagine how it feels for the ones fighting for their lives. There are so many death row inmates in need of desperate help, and there just aren't enough people to help them. THAT is frustrating also.
I bet I'm not the only one feeling frustrated about a thing or a million!
Other then that the sun is shinning.

I started writing people on death row because I felt so frustrated because I couldn't fight the death penalty. I felt so helpless signing all the petitions to only see them denied, protesting.
So, I felt that maybe if I could someone and bring some sanity to their world of insanity, I was doing something, even if it was a small part. Even though you guys get frustrated... please know that the slightest word, kindness is more than I think we all will ever understand to these guys.
Hope this made sense... I'm kinda tired today

I also feel so frustrated when I am in the visiting room and I have to go back in the free world. When I saw them trying to keep strong in front of me smiling because they don't want to make me sad. When there is a date and I saw familys and friends not able to give a last kiss or hug to them because of the stupid rules . When I have to beg to get information from his attorney over and over again. When that place denied all their rights and treat them like animals When officers are messing with them . When the mail room lose, tear and tempering their mail and violating their privacy. Yes, so many reasons being frustrated or should I say feeling so powerless...but i keep fighting with them and will never give up.

Oh Well - Lene - I know you're helping more than what you're giving yourself credit for. You are by no means helpless. None of us can singlehandedly abolish the death penalty in one day, and what you do is a lot more than most others do. Pat yourself on the back and be happy with yourself! Love, Turid

Yes doing somethings better than doing nothing at all, and whats that other saying about tiny acorns? ???As Ned Kelly the famous Aussie outlaw said " Such is life". Of course we all get frustrated at times but don't let it get you down too much, we must stay strong for these guys and keep up the good fight. Happy days

It is hard and it is importnat to know that we are not alone, that is why this forum is so very important. We all get that way and I deal with it by pushing harder. let people think I am annoying, if it can save Bobby's life I will deal with people thinking I am a witch!

I can't really say what it is - but I got some really good news today regarding a friend on death row. Sometimes a little team work and effort to pay off. ;D
I also recently got some really good news regarding another friend - but I had nothing to do with that. It was his work alone that gave him a much needed break and a chance to be heard in court.

Thanks for that.
I hope small victories will result in a big one - that he will get to go home.
