You know, your time would be much better served trying to save Scott's soul then trying to save his life. I agree that the death penalty should be abolished, but eternal death is what we should ALL fear. Whether or not Scott is guilty, he clearly has not lived his life as he should. I hope that while in prison, he finds God and seeks repentence. If he killed Laci and their child, his only hope is God. If not, his only hope is still God!

Please forgive me in advance. I mean no disrespect, but how in the world do you have even a CLUE how anyone stands with God? That is not for you or I or anyone else to judge. There is no way you know what is in Scott's or anyone's heart. I will stop now, because that subject gets me upset pretty quickly. But I seriously would like to know.......

I never claimed to know how Scott stand's with God (as in God's eyes) but if you listened to the tapes between he and Amber, he made it clear that he was not sure that God even existed much less that he has taken to the Lord's path. All I said was pray for his soul as we should pray for everyone's souls. I never accused him of guilt nor was I judging him. God is the only answer to this, guilty or innocent. I find it hard to figure why this post would have upset you so. But I will have to differ on knowing what is in Scott's heart. Your actions tell many what is in your heart. When someone hugs you, doesn't it tell you that they care for you? When someone if rude to you, doesn't it show you that they are disrespectful? Our actions DO show what is in our hearts.

It was clear in his conversations with Amber that he did not know how or where he stood with God. I think he is growing as a person now that he has had the time alone in prison like many have and has done alot of thinking. One can only hope that G or NG he turns to God and repents for his sins. Then he'll have his answers. Like we all should hope to. AMY

I see where you were coming from on that. I am sorry if I jumped on you when perhaps I should not have. I thought you were trying to say something that maybe you weren't trying to say. it is a subject that is very touchy for me, so I really do apologize. I would love to talk about it more, but since it has more to do with me than it does with Scott, this is probably not the appropriate forum for it.
