This is a website to say supportive things to Scott & his family. Why don't you take your negativity to a site that warrants that? If you think he's guilty, don't come to a site that's supporting him dumb a**!!!

My name is Jennifer, from canada. I became interested in the Laci Peterson case as soon as I heard that she was missing. I followed it the whole time, even the vigil that was held for her when Scott was smiling etc...when someone you love is missing, you'd be devasted, not smiling and laughing and thinking it was a party. I knew he did something to her from the moment I heard she was missing. The trial just verified it for me. Scott killed a woman and her unborn baby and he should not have the chance to put messages on boards etc....There was a trial and the evidence he DID kill her so he deserves to be exactly where he is at. Only, if it were up to me, I'd follow the saying: An eye for an eye.
Blondie, you obviously have joined a site that does not welcome your views. You are not Anti Death Penalty so why bother being here... your voice is swollen in the many here that supports Scott. Best Miles

Actually, Truth1, I think he's guilty too. However, I don't know the case well enough to debate his case. Plus, being that many are saying he's innocent, looks like I need to educate myself on his case.

Of course it is going to include new people who think he's guilty. Maybe he needs his own space because everywhere you look on this board is about SP now.

You know, I think alot of people out there that think he is not guilty are saying so because they think his trial was unfair--not because he did not do it.

I agree with that to a point...
His trial was unfair as well as there was no forensic evidence tying him to Laci's & Connor's murder. Sure there was quite a bit of circumstantial evidence, but I thought our justice system was built to convict only if the jury was "Convinced beyond a reasonable doubt". I don't see how "Circumstancial" evidence equals to "beyond a reasonable doubt". It also appears that maybe Scott's personal life (Amber Frey), was what actually got him convicted more than anything else. All of the juror's on the panel said that they all believed he looked like a nice man and thought that "this poor young man" was in an unfortunate predicament until they heard the Amber Frey tapes... I believe we will never know the real truth about what happened to Laci. I only hope that Scott isn't put to death because everybody "thinks" that Scott did it because he was in the wrong place at the right time. It would be no less of a crime to put an innocent man to death than for him to have killed his wife in the first place.

Well, I care not whether he is guilty or not, the judgement has been handed down and until appeals are done he has a new reality and so does his family. I can't imagine that it is easy for the Peterson's to step into that new reality and have to visit their son in Death Row and for Scott to now be living in a cell that is 6 by 9 feet and when he used to own a swimming pool and a boat the best thing that he will own will be a TV and a microwave, if he is lucky. Prison has its own society and it is ran by money and things just like our own on the outside and prisoners do have status based on their cases but I am sure that it is also difficult for people like Scott who have never been in prison before. This is going to be a real hard time for him and he has many years to deal with it.

There are several websites that give great information about Scott's case. www.savescottslife.com justice4scott.com There are forums that still discuss the case. Alot of the people who support Scott have moved from the well known forums because they have become so hostile. It's sometimes hard to find balanced ones with respect and honest answers. I have come to expect that over the past couple years though. Unfortunately this case is one that left me with more questions than answers and that's after reading every bit of testimony. All reports, discovery evidence, ALL of it. I can honestly say after having to argue for causes before this is one I have to stand steadfast in his defense. Not only because the trial was a farce, but because the is scientific evidence he couldn't have committed the crime on his own IF he were involved and there is no evidence of another person being involved.
