Help them get in contact with the ombudsman of the prison, that would be a first step. The ombudsman is there for the inmate. I think Kathy's question is a fair one... and Suzanne you answer was quite vague I was going to write a thesis on this issue as it does involve a controversial move by the antis... Well, getting in touch with an ombudsman would be the best step, at least the best first step, esp. if said inmate isn't wanting to create waves.

Also, can Florida make a law like this, Iam thinking of the Arizona Court decision...would it hold up under a court challenge There is the "freedom of speech" issue. I don't know, I'm not a lawyer, but contact the ACLU. They would be a good source of information also. Think about it though, how can they punish the inmate for placing the ad when the inmate did not place the ad, the inmate did not request someone in the free world to place the ad, or go in any way in requesting the ad. Esp. if the website refused to take down the ad after the inmate requested it taken down. How can they punish said inmate? One thing the inmate can do to CYA is send a certified letter requesting the ad be taken down.
