to be honest .. i cant cope with this thread cuz it hurts me deeply and made me cry ... but i d like to add one thing .. i was taught to judge people by the way they treat animals and it was a good advice cuz it always turned out to be right on the money ... no matter whoever i dealt with ... Mo-DAWG I agree. I would fry each and every person who was involved in electrocuting that dog. I would not even give them a moist head sponge. I would cook them very slowly and make sure that they felt the electricity sear through their bodies. I also would not give them a hood. That way I could see their faces contort upon being shocked. I know that sounds nasty, but looking at the pic of the dog about to die really upsets me. It makes me cry. Maybe that is what they should do to people who carry out executions, that way you could get three or more times the fun that you get from each execution.

The killing of a doggie is despicable. To even compare the killing of a dog to that of a murderer is incomprehensible.

And I was accused here recently of thinking more of animals than humans. If it is criminal to execute a dog, it is murder to execute a human being.

I love my dog with all my heart, and I think that dogs have a higher worth than murderers. Unlike the execution of a brutal murderer, when a rabid dog has to be put-down, we feel bad.

Modawg is so right! Anyone who doesn't like animals does not like people either. If you have no respect for an animals life you certainly won't have for a human.
Is executing a dog worse than executing a man? In all honesty probably not. But then we animal lovers do tend to take the animals side over a humans don't we?
I have spent my entire adult life fighting the injustices that man does to animal. It is never ending. The things that a human being can think up to torture an animal are unbelievable! We have several of these kinds of animals living out their lives here. Don't ever let anyone tell you that an animal does not feel graditude. I see it on Molly's face every single day!

I see no harm in your thinking more of animals than humans, that is, if you do. On reflection, animals, in particular dogs are the more worthy species. Of all the humans I have dealt with in my life, nothing and noone will ever make me feel more loved, or appreciated than my precious dogs. They offer unconditional, forgiving love. You will not get that kind of love from any human. A human in your friend until you let them down, then the trust is gone. A dog is a friend for life, no matter how badly you treat them. We can only hope to get a glimpse of that quality.
