It was mentioned that watching this would make people understand why pros think the way they do. Well, I did watch this and I've seen many many documentaries on 9/11. I remember exactly what I did that day. It was such an evil day. However, the many deaths in New York on that day and the many murders before and after that day does not make me understand pros thinking.
Being that when pros attempt to explain why they believe in the death penalty calling it justice, I'm not seeing justice. I'm seeing another form of evil. Man killing another man is evil. It is revenge disguised by "justice" and it's a hateful justice.
Murderers need to be punished, but the death penalty is evil. There is evil in the air when someone is executed. It's the evil of man killing man.
Other than murder, the closest comparison I can give on what it feels like when you are watching someone being executed is when you go hunting, i.e. deer hunting. I used to deer hunt in my younger days. Anytime I killed a deer, I had this awful feeling come over me. Don't get me wrong, I'm not a vegetarian, however, if your a hunter but never have been at the seen of a murder or an execution, that's the closest I can come up with on describing the feeling.
Even when I was pro, I didn't really comprehend what executions were until I became educated. I just wish those who have lost family/friends to murder will go to some sort of counseling in order to not have so much hate in them that they feel as if the murderer should be killed by man rather than by natural causes.

Watching this is very sad.
