No he did not confess to shooting Nick. I was one of his witnesses. He said he was sorry for the pain he caused. He did not confess to shooting Nick. He did not shoot Nick, which is what he was executed. He was a part of the robbery. He did not shoot Nick.
Rich was an honest man. Too bad you won't have the chance to get to know him. Your loss.

It is prettily obvious that pain was the pain for the murder committed, and that opinion is shared by an ardent Anti I know who has sometimes posted here. You don't apologise for a robbery when you're going to be executed. Garotte

You didn't know Rich. But how could you. He was on Death Row. I doubt you care to know anyone on death row.

Can't you people back off about this guy? I guess you pro death penalty folks won. He was executed. Aren't you proud? Happy? What else do you need? Why pick at the wound of another just for your own pleasure? I don't get it. Why don't you guys go do an endzone dance and spike the ball? I don't understand how you can justify the execution of a man who was railroaded all the way to the death chamber. I guess you all should be proud.

Suzanne pulls him out once in a while to remind us. Actually, I have a lot of respect for her and a number of others on this board. I will not change and they will not change but we can discuss things in a civilized fashion. Also, there are lots of other things to discuss, like football, games, children, pets, work, careers and other things. Once we are off the topic ofthe death penalty, I hope I am a charming conversationalist, with elagant manners and charm...At least I can have my fantasies about that.

To any degree, he's gone and maybe people should et him rest in peace. He served his sentence under the "laws" of texas and I don't think they are binding after death. It's time to let it go, folks. Mike, I would love to have another night of amrathon debating but I have to get some sleep, I have an important meeting tomorrow that coud make my life a little nicer. PM me anytime. By the way, what pirates are going to the all star game this year? Later, bro.

Why don't they let Rich rest in peace, he paid for his crime! He paid for someone elses crime. Rich is resting in peace. He's an Angel watching over Ricki Marie now. I'm not at peace. I lost my brother. The State of Texas executed an innocent man. hugggz, Suzanne
