I do not believe in political correctness... in Europe, the death penalty was overturned in spite of the common person, not because they wanted it... Come to Texas some time...

Miles, manson was on death row...In 1972, the Court said no more Death Penalty... All Death row inmates were given Life sentences in CA, with the chance of parole...In 1977, Death Penalty is reinstated...Previous changes stand... That is why...manson will never get out of prison alive... Geeze.. American law!!!! Wot an ASS!!!! Doesn't it SHOW you what a policitally correct country you live in??? Us lot here, are civilised and deal with murderers etc. Okay we do not have the same crime rate but as a country we DEAL with it. WE DO NOT MURDER OUR OWN PEOPLE. The public would NEVER allow it. Live here a while.... you'd not feel welcome with your views! many Europeans are outraged that you no longer provide the one true form of justice. If it was put to a popular vote, I would not be suprised if most people opted to bring back the gallows. About 70-80% of Americans support executions in at least some instances, and I bet those numbers would not be so different in Europe. The public demands executions. This has been time-tested. Executions have endured since the beginning of civilization, and they will continue to take place well into the future.

So how can you make such an assumption when you have NO IDEA what you are talking about? The British people (as I've said over and over again) got rid of DP, cause it was outdated and inhumane. What part of that can u not understand? We would NEVER allow it in 2005. You people need to be dragged into the 21st century. What you believe in is MEDEVIL. Whether you agree or not, at least us Britons CARE for ALL our people. Shame you lot can't say the same.

Lol u drunk again Inj? ;D Really.. if the majority of the people demanded the DP it wouldn't have been / be abolished in 99% of the world.

We have the death penalty because it works...One dead inmate at a time...It deters them from crime because they are dead...

Well, we like the death penalty...think of how people used to be executed in "Merry Old England" and for what...Stealing bread...people would be hanged, or look at William Wallace... That sort of behavior is why we have the "Cruel and unusual" clause in our nation's constitution...

I don't live in the US and i'm not planning on ever moving there. US is not really scoring on the international scene, and with these people it won't get better i suppose. In the end i think it will be more hurtfull to the US than to us foreign countries!

It works...They do not commit another crime again... so what we do against people who bla bla nonsense most of the time to prevent them going on about things they have no idea of and then change the subject as soon as they´re running out of words? Mo-DAWG
