Why would I talk about law? I am not qualified. I am a librarian...I help people find what they need for their own uses... I am not able to help people without at least a computer, printer, and a library... And databases...and lots of other stuff... well ya talk about SOME things you not qualified to talk about and have no knowledge of Mike..... Mo-DAWG

I look stuff up... It is up to others how they want to use it. However, My opionion of the Death Penalty is that it works to deter crime...one dead inmate at a time...Who killed someone and would try to kill you or me...

I once ready about this guy who had been on the "tie down team" for years who developed post traumatic stress disorder. As he was going to work one day, he just collapsed, and all the faces of them men he had helped execute started to haunt him. Obviously he had been pro death penalty, but that turned him anti.

Dead people, unless they are in George Romero's movies, do not commit crime...

I don't think you have ever seen the pain in someone's eyes as they talk about their loved one on the row. You can say all you want that the inmate caused that pain. I can assure you that is not what their families are thinking. They very much blame the State.

Ok, Catz, lets look at this one... A person decdes to hire a hit man to remove a problem... Say, his wife...The hitter kills her dead. He is caught and gives up the name of the person that hired him, in exchange for leiency. He gets it but the person who aimed him at the wife gets death...Is that fair...
I would say yes. And you might want to talk to JoJo about that one...
Or this...Three men decide they need money for drugs. They psoe as homosexuals, invite a man to go drinking, and murder and rob him...Which is a conspiracy, and all are liable for the same crime and punishment. One is executed for the crime...The other 2 plead guilty and got long prison sentences...
Fair or not fair...
I would say fair...

How is it fair that of THREE people, ALL attending a murder, that ONE is murdered by the State and the other two slimeballs rot in prison? If you believe ALL muderers should be executed, WHY are there the likes of Mason etc that are NOT on DR???

Miles, manson was on death row...In 1972, the Court said no more Death Penalty... All Death row inmates were given Life sentences in CA, with the chance of parole...In 1977, Death Penalty is reinstated...Previous changes stand...
That is why...manson will never get out of prison alive...

Us lot here, are civilised and deal with murderers etc. Okay we do not have the same crime rate but as a country we DEAL with it. WE DO NOT MURDER OUR OWN PEOPLE. The public would NEVER allow it. Live here a while.... you'd not feel welcome with your views!
