Dear CCADP,
I am a Presbyterian Minister and editor of the Christian Networks Journal, a nationally distributed quarterly magazine sold in approx 500 bookstores throughout the US and Canada. We tackle current issues from a balanced perspective, hearing from all sides of the issue. Some of those we have interviewed for recent issues include Yasser Arafat, Bill Clinton, James Baker, Sen. Bill Frist, William Bennett, Howard Dean, and many more.
I am writing to you about our upcoming fall 2005 issue, which will focus on the topic of capital punishment. In addition to the articles, etc...we would like to hear from people who currently sit on death row to learn of the realities and "effectiveness" of the death penalty in America. I was hoping you would be able to help me interview some people who currently sit on death row. We are based in Oklahoma, so the Mcalister prison might be a good place to start, but could effectively travel wherever necessary to meet with people willing to share their thoughts.
