Right now I am drinking Glenfarclas, but my fav is Dalwhinnie. So, I ask you, what's in your snifter?

When i was 15 i took a bottle of my dad's Glenfiddich whiskey and took it to Paris on a trip with my friend. So we were sitting besides the Seine and were chatting with tourist, smoking listening music and.. drinking the Glenfiddich. About 1-2 hours later i was knock out in the bathroom cellar of a paris bar where my friends sister worked.. i really can't recall how i got home that day  Maybe u think we emptied the bottle, but it was well over 2/3 filled at that time hehe. The smell in my throat stayed with me for years.. and i still smell it when i smell whiskey. Not ever will i touch it again hehe!!!! I prefer REAL russian vodka, my friend is from moscow and through him i can get hold of it (not like smirnoff, though smirn is better than much vodka thats sold here). Vodka is one of the cleanest alcoholic drinks and i don't get a hangover from it. I don't get sick either when drinking much of it  Catz .. burp |

Was there a reason or just a whim ? seriously - I like rye ('canadian whiskey') or did when I was younger....now a glass or two of wine will put me out but in the whiskey realm Crown Royal rye is the best! |
