G'day from Clive ! My intro to prison-support comes from 1965, when I spent several months in gaol. Then some years later--as a christian--I visited some inmates whose names I had been given. Five years ago I trained as a prisoner-mentor, after which I helped to mentor a group of ex-inmates and parolees. Then at about the same time I commenced corresponding to condemned inmates in Zambia, Central Africa--and have now been contacted by 198 inmates from Zambia, Sth Africa and Thailand.
It was 2 years ago when I started writing to a lady on death-row in Pennsylvania, whom I have only just now recommenced corresponding with, which is why I have now connected to CCADP. And just recently, I trained again as a voluntary prisoner-mentor, and will be matched up with an inmate in January who I will visit, then will assist and mentor him when he comes out in Febuary.
