BZZZT, No proof at all of intoxication. AN INTERNET RUMOUR There is extensive objective information on this case. SaveCathyHenderson.org has pages and pages, with links and links. This a a complex case. It could sway the opinions of any impartial people on the death penalty itself Jagaur Intoxicated or not, there's no excuse or justification for killing the child she was trusted to babysit. I suggest you carefully study the voluminous information at the SaveCathyHenderson.org again and look at the links in depth THEN, come back with your opinion. Accidents happen. Who hasn't had an implausable accident? Running in panic is not so implausable a reaction to anyone familiar with the Texas system of JustUS. Jaguar

If one or both parents had killed the child they might have gotten a year or two - not unusual in such cases. Not unusual, but ridiculous. That's like saying parents are allowed to kill. If a child kills a parent, the result is almost always LWOP. If a parent kills a child the sentence is all too often much less, unless it becomes a notorious case like Susan Smith.

None of my "so called" accidents have ever been murder. I read all I needed to read on that site, thanks.

I read SaveCathyHenderson.org. I agree, let's save her. Let's not be as brutal as she was. The reality, she will probably be executed in the next couple weeks. I wish we could stop it from happening somehow. The reality, as I see it though, Cathy Henderson deserves about as much sympathy and justification for her actions as a child molester. The defense theory in this case even sounds stupid. You don't accidentally kill a newborn. Cathy needs to own up to her own actions before she dies. Do I think she should be executed, no. I think she should sit in that hole of a prison for the rest of her life and pray for the redemption of her own actions for killing that infant. Instead, it seems she's trying to run away from it. She tried running away from her actions the day she killed the child, and she's trying to run away from her actions now. Pumkinpie, you visited the save Cathy site. So have I. Global Moderator - off2dr Thanks Peter, you seem really sweet. I checked out your forum, and it's pretty nice, but I don't think it's for me. I'm not really too big on debates. I mean I'll have one, if one comes up, but I'm not gonna go looking for one. Thanks for inviting me to your forum though. I'll tell you what..you can take me for a bus ride in England sometime!
