Hey!!! Suzanne!!!!! Glad to see you hear. Read all of Ricard's writings. You do have a handful don't you typing up all his ramblins ;D
Praying that Rich gets a stay, but barring he doesn't, is there any talk of who will take over this writing? It's so nice to hear of things going on on the inside.......
Will pray though he keeps on writing and you keep on getting carpal tunnel from typing so much.
Hugs Joy

Hello Suzanne! ;D
How absolutely GREAT to see you here! WELCOME!
I've been reading Richard's writings that have been posted to the ABOLISH list and also to the website you're making. Wonder if he knows how important his postings are?
I've been involved with death penalty issues for the latest 8 years, I've been working as an activist from Norway where I live, I've been visiting with many prisoners. In Texas and also in Florida.
But nothing has shown me more about the real HORROR of the death penalty than Richard's writings.
Better than anyone, Richard has been able to shed light on what this terror and madness is doing to the innocent victims - which of course are on both sides - however, the innocent victims represented by the prisoner's families and friends hasn't been recognized by most people in Texas, let alone TDCJ and the authroties.
Hopefully, Richard has succeeded in his efforts trying to tell people that these innocent vicitms actually exists. That they are human beings, innoncent, but still they're being punished. Severely so!
What has made a huge impact on me personally, was the relationship with his mother and his daughter. I was listening to the kdol radio last Sunday, and his daughter was sending his messages of love and butterfly kisses over the radio. I must admit: I'm not made of stone. I was crying rivers.
His writings can change things. Even pro death penalty people cannot deny or ignore the suffering of the innocent victims whether they're on this side or the other side. There is no justice in that. Just plain revenge. Or - maybe its wrong to say there are victims on two sides as they're all innocent victims.
Thanks for sharing his writings with us. What he has to say, is extremely important in order to shed light on the horror of the death penalty as a whole and not only the unbalanced information we all hear way too often, which systematically cuts off - and ignores - the suffering on both sides.
Thank you, Suzanne!
Love, --Turid

Who's gonna take over Uncensored? We're working on that. Have 1 good prospect, maybe too, but then again, TDCJ may scare 'em off.
I'll find someone.
hugggz, Suzanne
