My name is Tonya Sneed. Jim (my hubby) and I are big fans of CCADP and have had the privilege of meeting Dave and Tracy personally. By giving death row inmates a voice, they are putting a human face on the death penalty -- and, thus, their work plays a critical role in the abolition movement. I maintain a website for Jimmy Dennis, an innocent man on death row, at www.jimmydennis.org It's one of many websites for Jimmy. You can view others by linking on to them from Dave and Tracy's site, www.jimmydennis.com Dave and Tracy, incidentally, were the ones who started the Justice for Jimmy campaign. I have spent an enormous amount of time researching Jimmy's case. I have copies of the entire trial transcript, the appeal brief, police statements, etc. I am fully persuaded that anyone who reads these documents would share my conclusion, that this is an obvious case of innocence. I have case summaries that I can send to anyone who is interested in learning more. As for my day job, I teach first grade. I'm also involved in other social justice causes such as fair trade (not to be confused with free trade). I am troubled a great deal to learn in the last few years that slavery is still prevalent on this planet. I join in weekly protests against the war here in Peoria, Illinois. I have a big heart for Haiti. . .

Tonya says such nice things about us and CCADP but we honestly have to tell everyone that we are the ones who were priveleged to have got to know them. Not only on the Jimmy Dennis case, which they have been absolutely committed to and have done much for, but on all kinds of social justice issue. Jim and Tonya put not only their money - they do a lot of that too - but their feet where their mouths are! They've been to visit Jimmy on DR countless times - including driving all the way to Toronto to pick us up; then back to PA to visit Jimmy, back to Toronto to bring us home; and back to their home in Illinois! - but also they went to Guatemala last year to make sure the fair trade work they do benefits the right people; have travelled to Haiti; plan to work there someday. Jim and Tonya are truly an inspiration to us. And to those in the international community with a negative impression of Americans - Jim and Tonya put you to shame!!!! Tracy

Dear Tonya, Hello, you sound like a lovely person it's a pleasure to meet you I'm from the UK where as you probably know we don't have capital punishment, but my government has blood on their hands regards the war in Iraq. The media here call Tony Blair Geo Dubya's poodle because he always just does what George tells him. What a mess this war is. I'm a nursery nurse; you keep up the good work your side of the Atlantic. Three cheers for the CCADP, hip hip............ ;D Love, best wishes, Mo.
