The Jeff Dicks Coalition is a non profit organization, that works to ensure prisoners get medical care, that they are not abused by rapes, beatings or death. Prisoners are not sent to prison to die, but to pay society back for their crimes by loss of their freedom. We also have some programs for the teens to help stop the violence. We will
While we do not condone what these prisoners have done, we also do not condone treating them like animals. We do not want to stoop to the level of inhumane treatment inside the prison walls. That would only put us to the level of those who commit horrible crimes. And we don't forget that many in the system are innocent of the crime that put them there. We believe that we need to treat each person in prison with dignity and respect and not treat any of the prisoners perhaps the way they treated someone else.
We also believe that this is not a white problem but one that affects all. In that respect, we plan on having chapters and including in our coalition, all nationalities.
We are looking for some good leaders in all nationalities, in all countries. We'd like to make this coalition a combination of all. Our first Native American chapter is in Pennsylvania. Would like to see African American chapter as there are a great many of them incarcerated. As well, we'd also like to get someone willing to start a Hispanic chapter and any other nationality willing to stand up and fight against the abuses in the system.
Whoever you are, wherever you live, there is something you can do to prevent these gross violations of human rights from continuing. Speak out for human rights. Demand that these violations stop. Make your voice heard by joining the Jeff Dicks Coalition today. We are still needing leaders in some of these programs so if you feel you'd care to volunteer for something below that might appeal to you, contact us:
