The state of Texas plans to execute Timothy Titsworth tomorrow June 6 at 6 PM. Please participate in a protest vigil somehere on the evening of this execution. Posted below are know locations where protests or vigils will be taking place. Please let me know of errors and omissions.
Additionally, this is a reminder that the anti-death penalty rally normally held at Mecom Fountain on the first Wedenesday of the month will take place in from of St. Annes Catholic Church on the corner of Westheimer and Shepherd at 6:30 PM immediately before the AI 23 meeting at 7:30 at the Olive Branch Meeting Room in Rice Village behind the Mary Knoll house 2360 Rice Blvd Newcomers are welcome.

Huntsville -There is always a protest in Huntsville in front of Walls Unit. If possible, please be there at least by 5:30. Some people gather at 5:15.
Houston - Unitarian Universalist Church at 5200 Fannin
(corner of Southmore) from 5:30 to 6:20, with a period of
silent meditation (no conversation or "Honk" signs)
from 5:55 to 6:05. Signs are provided or bring your own.
Austin - At the Governor's Manson on the Lavaca St. side between 10th and 11th st. from 5:30 to 6:30PM.
College Station (Brazos Valley) - 5:30 to 6 pm, east of Texas A &M campus, across the street from the main entrance. A “STOP EXECUTIONS” banner is displayed plus one telling the number of executions since reinstatement
Corpus Christi - 6 PM pm outside the convent next to Incarnate Word Acadamy
Dallas - 5:30 pm, at the SMU Women's Center, 3116 Fondren Drive, the location of the North Texas TCADP meetings.
San Antonio - At Noon on execution days, Main Plaza across from Bexar County Courthouse and San Fernando Cathedral
Beaumont - Diocese of Beaumont, Diocesan Pastoral Office, 703 Archie St. at 4 PM on the day of an execution.
Spring - Prayer Vigil at 6 PM on evenings of executions at St Edward Catholic Community, 2601 Spring Stuebner Rd, Spring, TX 77389 for the murder victim, for family and friends of the murder victim, the prison guards and correctional officers, for the family of the condemn man/woman, for the man/woman to be executed and to an end to the death penalty.
Edinburg - 5 PM in front of the Hildago County Courthouse
McKinney - 6 PM at St. Gabriel the Archangel Catholic Community, 110 St. Gabriel Way
Lubbock - 5:30 PM a mass will be said St. Elizabeth's Catholic Church, & a prayer vigil will start at 5:55 PM to recognize all of the parties affected by the deaths of the victim of the murder and the victim of the execution. A moment of silence and prayer will be incorporated into Wednesday services at St. John's UMC.
EPADP (El Paso) has a monthly vigil on the first Wednesday of the month from noon to 1 PM in front of the El Paso County Courthouse, Kansas at San Antonio. Free parking at a nearby community center (for information 872-8422). Vigil is in memory of the victims of murder, the offenders, the executioners and the families of all who are involved in executions that month. There are no vigils in June, July, or August.
