I have been thinking of how to present this and have decided to come straight forwrd.
There is a word on the Pro web site that I find very offensive and have now started to see it pop up here and it makes me angry. This word is "scumpal" which by their definition is anyone who writes to a death row inmate AFTER they came to death row. They believe they should be executed along with their "friend" on the row. They believe they are somehow deranged, spycho or have many emotional and mental problems to even be doing something of this nature. ..... What I am upset about is that the pro's have started to move over here and are now introducing that word "scumpal" as if it's an alright thing and we should be ok with it.
WELL, I AM NOT. And, I would feel those Pen Pals here would also feel the same way.
Had to say my feelings guys.

And now they are taking what happened with Lonnie Pursley, Pam and his family to advocate their cause against "scumpals". I am not going to make any satements or talk about Ellie or Pam here. That is between them at the moment. What I am upset about is that the pro's have started to move over here and are now introducing that word "scumpal" as if it's an alright thing and we should be ok with it. WELL, I AM NOT. And, I would feel those Pen Pals here would also feel the same way. Had to say my feelings guys. well you know anger makes people react very emotional and if this anger gets helpless or desperate and the person is running out of words and arguments they tend to call people names..u know how full of rage, hate and anger the pro-site is and how uncontrolled they just vent..but honestly ..do you give a dang for what they say? i mean "does the moon care the dog barking at it"?( i know i repeat myself here)..i´ve never felt touched or insulted by their words cuz i don´t care their kind of venting..another reason is i don´t care other peoples criticism or whatever cuz i can get critizised by friends or beloved ones only..i mean who the heck cares what other people think about you unless you do ...actually this word "scumpal" was a quite funny thing..i use it in my ID and it made people curious about what it means and they keep asking me sending me PM´s ..-and you know what the result was? some of these people also decided to write inmates and become a "scumpal"..this word the pro-side invented works like a PR-machinery for us/the antis since i chose to adapt it and make fun of it that way.... i know that was not the purpose of the pro-site of course..but like i said in another post....thanks a million to the one who invented it and gave me the chance to use it that successfully for the anti side...great PR idea Mr. or Mrs. UNKNOWN PRO   Mo-DAWG |

I have to agree with Joy on this one - tho I agree with MoDAWG that it just a word and has power when we give it - however I think Joy is right; and I wanted to delete that post....because I think its rude; it impugns the motivations of all of us here ; who decide to write prisoners to bring them some comfort and to be active one on one against the DP.
Its a terrible lack of respect for the people engaged in this work; might discourage people who are still thinking about writing; and is just a way for someone to come and insult a whole group of people. It doesnt bother me in MoDAWGs tag; but I WAS pissed to see it just now. I will go find it again and delete it with an explanation. i gotta go find the thread now...

Tasha Hi Tasha, please take a look at the reply i wrote to Joy...as u can easily tell by my ID here i use the word successfully and made it a great PR thing for us Antis..u wouldn´t believe how popular it got in the Anti-Scene here...i just made fun of it and used it for our purposes and i worked greatly..still does....PR is part of my job and i know how to use it and it´s a big success (although i really doubt the Pro who invented the word would like to see how i use it for the anti-side..hahahaha) always Mo-DAWG |

I didn' do it before not becouse I don't agree with what you're saying but becouse of my attitude.. sometimes I just don't feel able to handle the conversation balanced and i was just afraid to loose control about that and this is not the right place to create polemic and I didn't want to go through some fight on here.
What you say is only one of the things that are starting to bother me about what Pros are saying on here in the last days. I am not going to write down a list about what i find unrespectful, but I will only say that accepting Pro's here what an attempt to communicate respectfully and maybe try to find something to share even if we have different angles about the topic.
At this point I am sure that it's not possible; they didn't come here to communicate, they just came here to judge and blame what we do and think. As i've said before, I am not here to change my opinions, I know what I am doing and I know my reasons, and that's enough. I would like to share something with everyone but not if it's used to be blamed.
Anyway, talking about me personally, I've decided to really don't care about what they say, and I won't answer anymore to their provocations. I am here to find support on my way, to share my experience with others and to learn from what others do. That's all for me. When they say something I really can't handle... I will go offline. I can't send them away but i can choose to don't talk with them. I've tried to do my best but it doesn't work. They don't talk; they judge. I've never done it. they have hate in their heart, they have wish of revenge, they teach how to hate and i want to learn the best way to love.
I can't handle it now. I'm sorry.

sad - if you are wondering why we deleted the portion of your message that is impugning the work of the CCADP in asking concerned human rights activists to write death row prisoners to let them know there are concerned advocates working on their behalf on the outside. We do not use insulting terms here; and we do not use words meant to put down and insult whole groups of people (especially people kind enough to write to these condemned men and women.)
Its nice that you wanted to send a nice message to a family member of a death row prisoner. I hope that you will continue to think of the pain these innocent people feel; as a result of a government policy that you so support.
Again; in future; think before you post; there are other places to go where insulting people is accepted and allowed. This is not one of them.

Thank you for real Ela u know what Ela..let them pros rage,justify, foam and vent ...the more they go off the more you see how right we are with the things we´re saying..if we weren´t it wouldn´t make them THAT upset..they use words and flipp out because they´re running out of arguments and running out of arguments means nothing but capitulation of mind....i´ve never had such "easy prey" since i got banned from the pro-DP-site (2 times from posting, 4 times up to now from chat and i never used any cursed words on them nor did i ever flipp out, lost control or get emotional...well THEY did and they seemed to have reason to hahahaha) love Mo-DAWG |

You're right Mo... and I admire you for your way to deal with all this... It's that I am too involved in this moment to take it so light and be "over" what they say.
The truth is that they hurt me ( as I am sure they hurt all of you)... but I am not able to handle it now.
I can't do it. I need to use my energies for other things and absorb what they say without reacting really take all my energies. I know that I should try to take it in a different way, but it's not my moment, I am not able, I prefer to stay out.. I am sorry that I will have to use this forum only at 50%, becouse what we share on here is something really preacious for me and I really consider all of you special fellows to walk with through this difficult way. But since I am a respectful person and I respect freedom, I will go away when it's necessary and I will let them free to increase their negativity.

You're right Mo... and I admire you for your way to deal with all this... It's that I am too involved in this moment to take it so light and be "over" what they say. But since I am a respectful person and I respect freedom, I will go away when it's necessary and I will let them free to increase their negativity. i do understand your feelings very well Ela and i know there´ll come a time when you´ll see these things the way i see them now..feel me? let me give u one example to let you know WHY i don´t care their opinions about me at all: they are strangers for me, they are strangers for my friends on death row...right? that means they don´t belong to MY nor to my friends familes or beloved ones and they have absolutely no influence on it....nevertheless they feel the need to hate and scorn me but it doesn´t touch or influence my life or the life of my friends at all..not more than some sailor spitting in the ocean somewhere ...know what i mean..so why the heck should i care what they think or say..like i said they neither know me nor my friends, they just spitting foam into an anonymous nowhere...so who cares... i can see you´re a sensitive and caring person Ela..don´t let totally unimportant people (totally unimportant for yours and your friends lifes)and their words of negativity hit or weaken you..your energy is needed on much more important things than listening to blind bow wow wow love Mo-DAWG |

Not so far I came on this post.. and hey.. it was such a peaceful and quiet place!! The right place to learn and share TRUE things, true feelings, true experiences.... You could touch people's life as if they were close to you for real. I was so happy to have found a place like this... the perfect background to grow up and increase ourselves. And now everything is a fight on here. Everything is a long, boring and hard polemic on here.... What is that? Is it a challenge to show who's the worst? Is it a challenge to show whoo loose and who win? Of course you're free to talk, offend, discuss and fight all night long... and what I say won't count that much, I am none.. I mean.. I am pretty new on here.. who cae what i think... I just wanted to say: Please let's try to remember what is our aim on here... just don't forget it. Between a fight and another one.. let's think about that.
