I am trying to find a podcast done with Aubrey Martin. Talking about the documentary of Robert Shafer who is currently at the Potosi Correctional Center in Missouri.
Robert & I had a summer romance when we were both 16 years old. And after I seen his story on Netflix this past October of 2019. I have been wanting to reach out to him. I too was sexually molested as a child and am seeking help for my addiction to sex as a result of this. And I knew that Robert & I could help each other. I wished we could have talked about our sexual abuse back when we were dating. Boy things may have turned out differently had we confided in each other. The fact that we are back in touch after so many years is a Godsend. I hope to someday see Robert released. Until then I want to learn everything I can about the prison system. Maybe I can be an active participant in helping those that are incarcerated. Thank for taking time to read my short story. God Bless us all. 😊
