just a quick hello from england and a question do i really need a p o box address living this far away to be a penpal Hi jj, welcome. No, I don't think there's any reason you'd need a po box. I can't think of any reason why mail couldn't be sent to your home, unless that is your personal choice.

I'm from Ireland, and no you definitely don't need a PO Box address.
The mail from my penpal comes to my home. If you're comfortable with that, there's no reason why mail can't be delivered to your home.

Yeah, I don't really see the harm in using your home address. Nothing bad could happen as a result. You are just reaching out to a person in need of support and friendship. And that is a wonderful thing. I've been writing for a few years now, and have always used my home address with no issues. Sure, if you have any questions, we're always here to help. Good luck with your penpal.
