Good morning everyone!
Ironically, as my boyfriend and I were debating the Scott Peterson case I noticed my DVR had recorded the "Notorious" episode about the case. I was pretty psyched about that. I said, ok watch it and see what you think and go on scottisinnocent.com while you're at it. Well, of course, they say Scott was totally uncooperative since the get go. Which I know from reading the reports to be untrue. They were totally slanted. Two of the jurors were on and they said before Amber the defense was coming along, but after Amber it all changed. It's all about how he behaved and his strange actions, but not once did they mention the timeline and how it didn't add up. Slant slant slant. Convicted from day one. But I also noticed that the last few Notoriouses all had men that had denied their involvement in what they were accused of. Needless to say my boyfriend's mind hadn't changed, but oh well.
I did have one question. Scott said he made one anchor, but they said he made 5 and there was 90 lbs. of cement missing. He said he used it in the driveway but when they tested it it didn't match consistencies.

An actual expert for the defense testified that Scott had indeed used the extra ready mix in his driveway. Further, it would take about 350 lb of weight to hold the body down, and there was no evidence that he made more than one anchor. I cannot find another case anywhere where someone has made weights ahead of time to sink a body. Cement blocks are easier, and need no explanation if spotted ahead of time. I cannot find another case anywhere where someone has dumped a weighted body from a 14 foot aluminum boat successfully. Even the prosecution knew this which is why they never tried to test if it could be done. There is no evidence that Conner was ever in the sea. There is no evidence that Laci was in the sea for more than around 48 hours. There is no 'cement evidence' worth a damn. See The Assumptions (<LINK) for more on this.
