SOUTH BEND, Indiana (AP) -- A jury convicted a man Friday of killing his father, stepmother and two stepsisters 17 years ago inside their church parsonage home so he could attend some high school prom events.
The St. Joseph County jury found Jeffrey Pelley, now 34, guilty on four counts of murder after deliberating more than 25 hours since Wednesday. Pelley faces up to 260 years in prison when he is sentenced September 15.
Something is very wrong when, with clear evidence of guilt, accused persons are found not guilty while, without a molecule of evidence of guilt, others are convicted. Has the system been rigged? Are jurors selected from the most stupid in the community? What is happening here?

I read about that last week. 17 years later, that is unbelievable! It seems to me that if it were him, this would have been figured out years ago. Why they would suddenly re-hash the whole thing and pin it on him 17 years later doesn't make sense. Do you know if there was suddenly new evidence linking him to the crime? The article I read was really short, and didn't say to much about evidence.

Just a case of, "He could have done it and no one could prove he didn't and anyway we didn't look for anyone else so it must have been him".

Hey Happy, Some weirdo has come on this site saying that you are Charlie Tuna. I'm sure that her posts will get deleted, because she said all nasty stuff. Charlie Tuna is a DJ, right? Why would she say you are this person? Are you this DJ, Charlie Tuna? Just curious.

I looked Charlie Tuna up online. I saw a picture of him and he's pretty attractive for a middle age guy.

I thought you had to be 18 to post on here. Oh well. I don't know who the DJ is either. I looked online and it said he was a dj in Las Angelas, CA with a morning talk show. I'm not from that area and have never heard of him. Well, you have a great day, I'm off to work!
