I stand on that if one is convicted of child molestation then one should die. It is really simple. God forbid if an innocent person should be wrongly convicted. My wife was abused as a child. Her step-father at that. He is now dead by means of his own hands because he didn't want to face the charges. He killed himself on our wedding anniversary. You can't even begin to imagine what we go through today from the remnants of the scumbag unless you have experienced it yourself. I hope you haven't.
This is just my opinion. I just wished we had that law here.
As to the Anti-American with the seatbelt comment: Good argument! Man that was deep! Bet you had to really think hard to put that reply in text! Besides, a lot of them wind up dead anyways.

I just want to comment on that picture you have posted, I think it's really ugly! Everytime I look at it, I think eyyyuu. Put up a picure of a hot guy, instead of that. Give us girls on here something good to look at! p.s. Or at least put up a cuter one of the President. George W. Bush can look semi-handsome when he tries!

I think more children will be hurt and even killed because of this bill! "Uncle Bob could get the death penalty" sent shivers up my spine, because this is EXACTLY what would happen! MOST child sex abuse happens right in the family! IMO these kids will be much more afraid to come forward, and the sick people that prey on them, even if related might try to kill them to avoid the DP. The DP will not stop the sickness of pedophiles. They are everywhere.... in churches (especially in churches, just google catholic priest and pedophile), in government (hello Mark Foley), in schools...... and sadly right in the home of many children. I do not know the answer to this very serious and sick problem.... but I do know we can not KILL them. Remove them from society, yes.... kill them....... no. In America, 1 out of 4 women has experienced sexual assault or molestation during her life. If this Texas bill is passed and becomes common elsewhere, it implies a tidal wave of executions if the law is to be enforced. I don't even see how sufficient prison space can be created. Typically offenders are rushed through the penal system for their first conviction. There are simply too many. Possibly the 'sickness' that infects them infects society too? Seems to me like both could use some 'curing'.

Look at the McMartin preschool case or the witch hunt in Wenatchee and ask how sure you are of this. England used to hang pickpockets. You could still get your pocket picked at a public hanging!

Well, I used to be opposed but because of the Bernardo-Homolka travesty of justice, I am now most definitely for the death penalty. Her husband is in prison for life while she goes free and lives under another name ?? Well, she can run but she can not hide!!

And don't change the system because of one case either.

Although being pro...if Canada brought back the dp...paul bernardo would not get it. Bu hey, you can at least thank the other prisoners for trying to kill him. Although rape and molestation are serious and can affect women and men throught their lives...the dp just does not fit in with this charge. Although it would be nice to see these scum dead (because what other purpose in life do they serve besides hurting people) the dp was only introduced for murder...i guess the rational thinking of it was you take a life and you have yours taken away.. For rape and molestation life in prison is a good option. I stand on that if one is convicted of child molestation then one should die. It is really simple. God forbid if an innocent person should be wrongly convicted. My wife was abused as a child. Her step-father at that. Actually, in some instances when people don't wear their seatbelts they die. So, I guess you can call that the dp of peoples own stupidity. S9omething tells me that jargo would hand down the DP for not wearing your seatbelt

As one is interconnected with the other, I most wholeheartedly think that the Canadian laws need be seriously changed, if not totally rethought and rewritten.
