Below is an article about a convicted felon who was identified as being guilty of another offence through mandatory DNA testing of inmates. He had been convicted of rape charges as a 15 year old and eventually paroled. He was arrested again for attempted abduction of a women and he has nearly completed a jail sentence for that offence...He now will be facing a further charge relating to another kidnap rape...this man is a predator...note in the rape/murder he was involved in (the case of Janine Baliding) there were three other offenders jailed for life (and not been released - note two of these offenders were juvenile- one 17 and one 14!)- note that none of these offenders have raped another women since they were in jail

Rapist trapped

ONE of the men convicted of the rape and abduction of Sydney woman Janine Balding 17 years ago has been convicted of two more horrific attacks.
Rapist Wayne Wilmot was to have been eligible to walk from jail in June this year – but instead faces up to 14 more years' imprisonment.
The Daily Telegraph can now reveal Wilmot beat, bound, blindfolded and sexually assaulted a 19-year-woman at Leightonfield railway station in 1998, then asked her when the next train departed.
It was not until last year that DNA connected him to the crime.
Wilmot pleaded guilty in Parramatta District Court yesterday to kidnapping the teenager and having sexual intercourse without consent.
Wilmot, who was 15 at the time of Ms Balding's murder and is now 32, committed the attack on June 2, 1998, less than two years after being released from jail over his role in Ms Balding's abduction from Sutherland railway station in 1988.
Wilmot served eight years for his part in the gang abduction and rape of Ms Balding, but had the murder charge against him dropped.
Only two weeks after committing the Leightonfield attack, Wilmot was locked up for the attempted abduction of a young woman at Glenfield station.
She managed to fight him off and escape.
Wilmot was sentenced to a minimum seven-year jail term for that attack.
Wilmot's involvement in the Leightonfield attack was discovered last year due to a DNA testing program of NSW prisoners.
Wilmot's DNA was found to match semen left on the shirt of his victim, who was ambushed inside the station master's office.
The victim's statement outlined how she thought Wilmot would kill her after the rape.
She had spotted Wilmot loitering at the station when she arrived for the 5.30am shift the day before. Wilmot returned the next morning to commit his crime.
"I was frightened and did not want to be killed," she said.
"I only did what he wanted as I didn't want to be hurt. I felt sickened by what he did to me and was crying the whole time."
Yesterday, Janine's mother Bev Balding said Wilmot should be locked away for life.
She said he had proved himself to be a serial predator and would commit murder if released.
"I believe he will end up doing what he set out to do to Janine, and he'll do it himself," she said.
Wilmot will remain in custody until he is sentenced on December 14.
