Good Morning,
My name is Philip Reeder and I'm the producer of a Network Television Documentary about the lives, challenges and, as importantly, the continued hope of the women living on death row.
I'm particularly interested in arranging an interview with Ms. Brittany Holberg. I've been aware of her case, including both the complexities and the controversy surrounding it, for some time. In fact, I recently attempted to send an e-mail to, apparently, one of her supporters. So far, though, I've heard nothing in return. Moreover, one of my staff members sent Ms. Holberg a semi-generic letter (by snail-mail) about our project.
However, now that I've found you, I hope that you'll be willing, at least, to speak with me about Ms. Holberg---and, if all of your questions and/or concerns are answered satisfactorily, to speak with Ms. Holberg about me...and about agreeing to do an interview with me...for our Network Doc Special.
I'm currently in final talks with the family (and representatives) of another Mountain View Inmate, Ms. Frances Newton. Although the details have not yet been completely worked out, our interview with Ms. Newton (and with several of her family and supporters) appears (near) solid.
Please understand that my program is not an expose. It is, instead, an up-close-and-personal look into the emotional lives of these women. However, we will explore some of this women's cases, most especially those women whose convictions are suspect.
If Ms. Holberg would like to have her story, and any revelations that we most certainly will come up with, broadcast to millions of interested, curious people---and produced by people (yeah, me) with a promise of fairness, honesty, emotion, compassion...and outrage...please return this e-mail.
Or, of course, please call.
Best,
Philip Reeder
