Every time I read one of your posts it just breaks my heart. Please let us know if there is ever anything we can do... It's hard to know what to ask for, other than continued support for Josh on his website and in his forum. Being the parent of an incarcerated child convicted of murder can be a very isolating existence. Through Josh's website, I have found myself surrounded by people who care about what happens to Josh, and what happens to me. Josh is beginning to realize, as people from his forum write to him and support me as well, that there is still hope in his world. And, I have found new hope, as well. My heart goes out to you as well. I also have a son..... and I know all to well how turbulant and difficult the teen years can be... I don't condone murder- but I would also be seriously hard pressed to send any 15 year old to jail for life! Can you post Josh's website? I'd like to offer my support. hugs, Maggie

There is a free forum you will be able to sign up for as well, that is linked directly from the website. Thank you so much for your caring and your interest! Kindest Regards, Missy

oztash, it might be sad, but it is just reality. There are some sick people in prison with no hope for success even if they are let out, so most often the only options are LWOP or the death penalty. I'd rather just get rid of them now then pay for their incarceration for 40 or 60 years until they die a natural death. LWOP is just silly and a waste of money and resources.
Free Rob, not sure what you are getting at with all the questions but I don't have to be a medical doctor to form an option that differs from yours. The death penalty has been around since the dawn of time, it is nothing new. Murderers know if they kill, they might be facing the death penalty. Nobody hides that fact and they decide to accept the risks.
Now would you quit calling me a USA citizen, Ive already told you Im not, I am Canadian. Hell, I think I even said it in this exact thread I think. I don't need an education or anything else to believe in old fashion justice. Just like there is no substitute for old fashion home cooked meals, there is no substitue for JUSTICE. The system in place today is a piss weak system. People who have killed have shown they have no regard for human life so why should they be treated any differently once caught, tried and convicted?
About your sheep comment, if all the pros are just sheep what the hell does that make you antis all following each other? Highly educated intelligectuals? You antis needs to grow a spine and start believing in real justice.
miscmood, prison sentences and the death penalty aren't about which are more painful or worse for the convict. It is about protecting society.
