Mike, I have a question for you.
Are you enjoying all this?

This was a justification :
I will throw my hat into the ring with this...
He was on Death row...Check
He had appeals...Check
He died of CANCER...Check
He was NOT EXECUTED...Check
Where is the problem? Other than medical care...
DNA did clear him, but cancer was the killer, not the state of florida.
When that made us sick; you tried to blame his lawyer. That didn't work so you finally blame the judge. Well Mike; this happens all the time in these cases; and thats why people like us get so pissed at people like you who support the DP; and THINK there is JUSTICE and THINK they know how the DP works and obviously are terribly misinformed and have no idea. Just the fact that you seem surprised that the idiot judge denied the DNA ... that happens ALL ALL ALL the time - is that Justice?
All you have done on this thread is try to justify that this was ok; and then finally you admit that we are right on this case; he did not get justice; but you refuse to allow that to make you look at some of the problems in the system.

I do not know... The justice system is not perfect. It was developed by people, who are also imperfect. Why DNA was not used I do not know...However, he did have the court to hopefully give him a break. The system failed because judge did not want to allow DNA.

If it did fail here, what on the earth makes you think that it did not fail in numerous other cases? oh it did Lili and we are currently proving it in cases...and the states reactions on that are that they´re going mad and don´t want the material to become public....but they have no possibilites to stop it.... Yes. Thats this one case. You said you needed only ONE case. Here it is. Now its not enough. Now you have accepted the injustice here; but now I guess you think its the only case ever to be unjust.
I don't know why you said you only needed one. I guess to appear moral and reasonable.

No, we're not.
We don't think people suffering and dying is funny.
I'm sorry that you do.
I guess now we have got down to the real reasons behind your support of the death penalty.

I think I said if an innocent person were executed...
He was not executed. That is the difference. He died of cancer, which was tragic. It was.
What part of NOT EXECUTED do you not understand?

ok, here's my 2 cents worth...
imagine living in a cement cell, being treated with indignity, with inhumanity, in disgusting conditions for 14 years for a crime YOU KNEW you hadn't committed. How would YOU feel if that happened to YOU?
Also knowing there was a huge possibility that were were going to be executed by the State for a crime you didn't commit?
Where the justice and humanity in THAT? Eh?

actually I think what you said was that one innocent person on DR would be too much; but I'll go make sure.

People suffering is tragic...
Animals suffering is even worse.
There are far more tragic things happening in the world. But this man was not executed...What part of that do you not understand...?

Thank you(I think). No, it is just with the stakes high, it is only fair that we behave so. I would rather be wrong and the person gets let go and free than right with a staked deck against someone and they spend one day in prison, let alone on death row.
that was one of your posts .. i am still looking for the one I meant ;

No he wasn't, but he COULD have been, ANYTIME for a crime he didn't commit and living in a hellhole for a crime he didn't commit for 14 bloody years!

I cant find the other there are too many and I cant remember what thread it was.
But anyway I thought you meant an innocent person on DR would be too much for you. I didn't realize u thought 14 years under a sentence of death and then dying a hated child molester was ok....

You are a mean person Mike..maybe it is the lack of happiness that makes you what you are! So I forgive you. But I can’t argue with you any more, because I think that ignoring someone is the best way to show him your despite. Haugh, I have spoken!
