I have been thinking lately about the upcoming execution of Richard Cartwright, and I realized that little Rickki is about to lose her daddy.
I was thinking that we, CCADP could do something for little Rickki. I was thinking we could make a memory book for her, all about her father, it would inculde, pics and story's from his Mother, Father, ex wife, us here, his supporters, his lawyers, the prison guards, his friends on dr.
We could get in contact with Richard and ask him if he would like to write a letter for his baby, and if he had art work he would like to submit...
If we want to do this, we have to move... We need people to get in contact with his friends family, pen-pals, supporters and anyone else who would like to submit something..
If everyone likes this idea, i was thinking we could do this for other inmates family, and children..
Please let me and Tracey know what you think and any ideas you may have

Dear Richard My name is Natasha, I am writting to you on behalf of the members of CCADP... We have all been moved by your plight, and with your execution date only 8 days away, we have been thinking of what we could do for little Ricki.. We came upon the idea of doing a memory of my daddy book... This book would have in it... 1. Story's of your child hood 2. Story's from your ex wife 3. Story from your pen_pals 4. Letters from your lawyer 5. Letters from your supporters 6. Letters from us at CCADP 7. Storys about you from other inmates 8. Story's about you from the guards? if you would like 9. Pics of you and Ricki 10. Your art work 11. And a special letter from her one and only daddy.. Richard we wont to do this because we are worried about your little angel, we wont to insure that she has something special just for her... We need your help to make this work... Richard, we need leters and names from pen-pals, lawyers, friends, inmates and family....If they could get in touch with us, we can get this rolling... info@ccadp.org... If they send emails we can print these... Ummm and anything you would like to write for your angel or any art work can be emailed to us... Looking forward to hearing from you... Natasha, Tracey and members of CCADP. Your family in your fight for justice. God Bless

I was thinking that anyone who wanted to, could write a little something that could be printed, for ricki, umm about what you know about her dad, etc... It could be messages of support for her and her dad, short or long...

I am going to send my husband a letter tomorrow and ask him if he could write something to Ricky about his friendship with her dad, something good about her dad. I don't know if his letter will make it back in time, but I should have something by the end of next week. Would that be alright?

I think this is a wonderful idea.
This 'countdown' is heartwrenching and if we could leave a legacy from Richard to his little girl, his memory will live forever.

Janet Yes thats why I approached tracey and all members here with the idea.... Richard's mum Irene has contacted me by email, saying she thinks its a great idea and that she printed my email and has sent it of to richard... She was a little worried that richard might not like it to be see my everyone, and I assured her that this was just for little Ricky, not for us, and we just wanted to try to put it together for ricky.....She said to say thankyou to everyone here...

thanks for this Tasha - and thanks for thinking of it - this is a wonderful idea and will also give Richard something positive and lasting to focus on to leave his daughter.
I like that it is to be private; just for her.
I wonder if we could even find a way to get it bound. Is there anyone who knows how where and how much it would be to get one copy bound?

It depens on whether u only want to get it bound, or also want the printwork to be done. Quicly checked a link on google: www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/shop/Albums/index.shtmlThey offer 1 printed (20pg.) and bounding for 90 dollar. Probably there's more addresses to be found! Though i think it should be good material cause it should last a long time. Best, catz. p.s. ill chip in

Great idea about it being bound.. At my local post office you can buy a bounding kit, the rings to hold it together for around $12...You sould be able to buy there also... I will put in for this as well... Tracey do you if I can B-Pay money straight into your account, thats what we do here, or from post office into your account, can you see if you can find out for me. I just thought of something else. Lamenating, I brought a laminating machine for $25, and the laminate was $10 for 25 A4 sheets... I dont know if anyone has a laminate machine, and it would take to long to get to Ricky from here....
Guys chew on these ideas and see what we can came up with.

There are also those scrapbook pages that are a bit time consuming to do but look really nice once they are done. It is all done with acid free paper so it will last a life time. Just an idea if anyone does that type of thing.

Just an idea if anyone does that type of thing. Yeah your right, scrapbooking might be better, cheaper and more personalized.
