Many people have contacted me about writing letters to the Editor regarding Kenny's situation. It is a good idea for people to write and register their concerns about this case. I know even reporters are getting annoyed at the courts and the AG for their delaying tactics. The AG is running for Governor. Kenny has already been used to further the career of the assistant prosecutor in his case who is now JUDGE Randall Basinger. The AG it seems is using this case in the same way, and Kenny is a human being not a political football. You can see the articles written today from the Toledo Blade and Lima News on Kennys site. www.kennyrichey.org for reference.
There are three main newspapers in Ohio who have dealt with Kenny's case over the years. The Columbus Dispatch which is Ohio's biggest newspaper, Toldeo Blade and also The Lima News.
I have added their snail mail addresses and also email addresses onto this so that people can write to the Editors of these newspapers in protest at the length of time it is taking for them to 1) Judge Gaughan not issuing the mandate to begin the 90 days. 2) to either retry Kenny or release him within these 90 days.
Emails are good but I think snail mail letters are probably better and since emails can be quickly deleted and discarded, snail mail piles up and looks better:) But whatever way you do it is good.
The Dispatch welcomes letters to the editor from readers on a broad range of topics. Short letters (200 words or less) have the best chance of being published. Typed letters are preferred, and all may be edited. Each should include a signature, address and daytime phone number. Specify a date if there’s a reference to a previous article or letter.
