Juan Melendez; who was released from Florida's Death Row in 2002 (CCADP had a page for him since 1999 !) has several speaking engagements in Europe in the next month. I am waiting to hear back which ones are open to the public....
Here they are :
Saturday, May 14: "Lifelines" Conference, Birmingham England (a.m.)
Sunday, May 15: BPB Law School, Hollburne, London, 3:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Monday, May 16: St. Ethelburga's Peace and Reconciliation Centre, 6:00 p.m.-7:30 p.m.
Tuesday, May 17: University of St. Louis, Madrid, Spain: 1:00 p.m.-2:00 p.m. (Juan will be having a reunion afterwards with Joaquin Martinez--a Spaniard who was on death row in Florida with Juan for 3 or 4 years--and he is delighted to be able to get together with Juan in Madrid).
Wednesday, May 18: Event in Wuppertal, Germany (evening)
