Hi, Does anyone on here have any problems getting mail from Holman CF (Alabama). I have been writing to an inmate on d.r for several months now and have always had 2/3 letters a week. But over the last few weeks I have only recieved 2 letters, 1 of which was quite worrying as he had recieved a rejection form saying that I had written him a foreign letter I dont speak any other language. I then emailed Grantt Culliver(warden at holman) and he explained that the foreign letter was actually the international postage coupons that I send and that they had to be rejected because the facility does not allow them . First I have heard of that as I have been sending them for ages. He also assured me that the mail would not be stopped or inteferred with because of this one item. In fact it seems that we have had problems with our mail since I first emailed Holman a couple of weeks back requesting details of the rule changes to visitation. Maybe they dont like people asking questions. Either way I am very anxious as I have no idea whats going on over there. Does anybody have any ideas? Thanks Lisa ;D

I haven't heard. I do know there are problems with the Polunsky mailroom. Several inmates are receiving their letters late and some may not be sending them at all.
You might send the via "priority mail" which is what I'm going to end up doing.
Other inmates from other TDCJ units receive my letters in a timely manner and I receive responses from them in a timely manner.

Hi Lisa, Glad I'm not the only one having problems with them... I wrote a guy for the first time there weeks ago and nothing Now of course maybe the guy doesn't wish to have me as a penpal, but Holman looks really bad mailwise from what I have read Laure
