Please Write Randy Garcia J 57900 San Quentin State Prison San Quentin, Ca 94979 USA
Randy Garcia Death Row - San Quentin, California
My name is Randy Garcia. I am 47 years old. (Birthday September 24, 1970). I have been locked up since May - 1993. I was 22. I have been on the row since 1995. Truly- the death penalty is a poor mans sentence. But responsibility must be taken.
Is there not a better way?
If the system fails me and I am put to rest "IT'S OKAY" Because I have failed the world. and in the process I have failed myself.
But until that time "I AM ALIVE" full of emotions and feelings and a strong need to EXPRESS
I am born again with the reality of how precious Life is... and how precious "MY" life is
what am I seeking? answers. questions. why? You- me - the world? Compassion - do I deserve it? Forgiveness!! I need it!! Understanding - can anyone? FREEDOM through compassion - there is freedom through Love - there is life
I would love to hear from anyone who has an opinion or a thought - or an idea.
I would also love to have contacts in the Bay Area - San Francisco - that's where San Quentin is. That would be really wonderful. I will answer ALL letters. There is so much to tell the world.

Hi Nawel. Randy is still living. There's a moratorium in California right now I believe so no one there is being executed. He's my cousin son but I've never met him. I'm against the death penalty unless it's a serial killer or child killer why don't you write him I'm sure he'd appreciate it. He was only 19 I believe when he committed his crime. I don't believe the death penalty hinders gun violence in any way. Perhaps at that young age people can change and possibly somehow try to make up to their victims families for their crimes. I don't know. I've heard through family that he's quite the poet. I do pray for him that he's a different person now than he was all those many years ago. I read that San Quentin is being shut down and turned into a more nurturing environment. If he'd been in Texas where were from he'd have been executed long long ago. Anyways good luck and God bless.
