Hi, wondering if anyone can help...
I have heard so many rumours about what we can/ can not write to a DR prisoner in Texas. Just curious if anyone writes anyone in Texas and if so...
1) Is it true you can't send post cards?
2) Is it true letters will only be given out if your include your home address on the back?

For your first letter, stick to the basics: One page in an envelope, write on one side in one color, no pictures or other enclosures. Ask what the rules are for future letters. These are possible violations (but rules differ from prison to prison): Too many pages Insufficient postage Insecure envelope Too many enclosures Colored writing paper not allowed Information from the internet not allowed Pictures included in body of letter Only one side of each page may be used Unsigned card and, of course the dreaded glitter or foam. insidetexasprisons.blogspot.ca/www.texastribune.org/library/data/texas-prisons/www.writeaprisoner.com/
