I see this phony anti lifted the moratorium as soon as the SCOTUS handed their decision down

VERY disappointed by the ruling here, btw. I thought the evidence of the cruelty of the current method most often used put the matter beyond any doubt-- what is to be lost, by the supporters of CP, by switching to a potentially less physically painful method such as a straight opiate overdose, or even nitrogen asphyxiation, perhaps?
We have a long road to go... and as far as the Supreme Court goes, I don't see where any of the three frontrunners for President will make nominating an abolitionist a priority should an opening arise. Obama might take it more into consideration than the other two, but I don't think it would be as important for him as, say, a no-shot like Kucinich or Paul.
