I havent posted here much lately for the simple fact that its turning into a fan club. There are alot of inmature young ladies posting inappropriate things to Scott. I am a big supporter of Scott but I want NO part of a thread that contain things as talking about what a "gorgeous creature" Scott is or putting "kisses xoxoxo" to someone they have never met. As I have said on many occasions, these types of "supporters" give the ones with true intentions to help the Petersons and Scott a bad name.

This part of the discussion board has turned into a "House of Worship for Scott Peterson" where people can't even express an opposing side of view! What is a discussion without the opposing side? The title says "Scott Supporters and Discussion Area" it doesn't say "Only Support Area for Family and Friends" or " No one with Opposing Views Please Don't Come to Scott Area". This guy did not win the Nobel Peace Prize or save little children from the flood waters of the hurricane. No, quite the opposite. He has been charge and convicted and sentenced to death for killing his own wife and baby. I find this idolization of this man scary of this man scary but understandable due t most females think that he is attractive and they can't believe that an "average joe" like himself would be capable of doing such heinous things. But whether you believe in his innocence or guilt the idea that we lock threads and edit comments for fear that one of his precious loved ones might see what is being said about him really bothers me. Don't you think that they have already heard far worse? Of Course they have! And it is too bad that this happened to them because they didn't choose this life but it is one that they got to deal with. Meanwhile censoring people on this board only does us a disservice because it doesn't enable us to understand this complicated charater Scott Peterson. |

Your right about the Peterson Family being victims also. They need support, not young ladies telling them that they created a gorgeous creature, GMAFB. I have also been hesitant to participate in posting lately due to the fact that most of the content posted has been "overdone" and very immature, focusing on the issue at hand, a wrongful conviction, will help correct the injustice against Scott and his family. For all the ladies who wish to express otherwise, there is a mailing address posted, privacy and diplomacy is a critical fact to keep with the overall seriousness of this case, discussion of what has been sent or received by mail should also be kept completely confidential. |

So here is my suggestion, if we should mind our bizness, get rid of the board entirely! Let's not have a Scott Peterson area at all and then we don't have to lock anyone out and everyone can just go one their merry little way and forget about Scott Peterson. No more idolization, no more love messages, no more fighting, no more debating the issue. It is a done deal! I have never seen where we have protected a death row prisoners image so much as I have seen with Mr Peterson as I have seen on this board and I think that it is ridiculous! This guy is a human being not a demi god. And by the way let me remind everyone he has been convicted of a double homicide which makes him a not so nice guy. |
