Just curious why you joined this site...Lets face it Scott Peterson is on Death Roll, But yet so many Non Supporters are here..Would like to know why?

I work hard at supporting myself LOL!

Basically why I'm here is because this happened in my home town of Modesto, and I am curious to see why people think hes innocent.

Regardless of what I think about his guilt or innocents, I just wanted to see if whats being said is all one sided and I'm happy to report i see all sides.

I think its great that i see both sides being expressed in adult conversations. And although not all views are respected by some, I feel for the most part there are sensible dedicated people stating their opinions, and i think its wonderful that everyone can.

Also you should know that most of the time I am firmly against the dp not only b/c there is no real concrete way to prove guilt, but also b/c I think that people who act out in this way should not be able to die and receive peace that quickly. I know this may sound harsh, but sometimes some people do not deserve to get to run away they should have to live through it and face what they have done just like the rest of us.

Well Star..... When I joined this board there was not the hoopla about SP that there is now. I believe he is guilty. Does that mean I should leave this board because SP supporters came here? I do not think so. This is a wonderful board that supports positions on both sides as long as you are respectful. Even though I do not agree with you, I will not disrespect you and I expect the same. :-). SP is not the only person we discuss here! Everyone brings something to the board and if we keep an open mind.... We can all learn something. :-)

I joined this site because I was interested in how the other side thought. I know Scott is on death ROW. That is where he belongs, IMO.

Ok..So your on the fence? I can see why..I always felt Scott was Innocent..But truly it wasn't until I did alot of research and BB posting that I knew he was..Anyways I was just curious that is all.
Most people that don't Support Scott are full of hate..That is something I just don't understand. Not saying that anyone here is just saying what I have run into.

Yes your right..

But it amazes me how many NON supporters are still so intrested in this case..I personally wouldnt even be keeping up with it if I thought he was GUILTY..Because I would be thinking OK he's on DR..He got what he deserves. JMO

I am not on the fence Star I believe very much that he did these things, but if someone thinks that they can prove me wrong I am more than willing to listen. Also, I thought maybe someone here knew something I didn't b/c there are supporters here.

rain... great post... and I am glad your here, and I truly hope you feel as welcomed here as I have, I'm new also.

I don't straddle the fence at all, I know exactly how I feel. I found this site also like mhdubuha did, in what i hoped in researching for the truth.

Since Scott told so many lies that lead up to his trial, I was seeking more of what the true "Truth" Is.... I'm almost afraid to say what side I'm on...

Do we have to draw lines, in what we think? Are Labels Necessary?

Ive seen some really harsh posts and at first i was timid in posting, I think all should be welcomed here regardless if either side agrees with each other.

I'm happy to report, Ive enjoyed reading both sides, because I find I'm not alone in how i feel. I can also respect those I disagree with.

I want to thank those that allow both sides to freely speak respectfully to each other.

Thank you to those of you that monitor these threads. Perhaps its a thankless job, please know I appreciate what you do.

I am against the death penalty - and that is why I am on this board. As Rain I joined this board way before SP "took over". I don't believe anyone should be executed, but don't know if that would put me in the SP support group as I tend to believe he is guilty. I support his right to live though - as I stated I am against the death penalty. However, this is an interesting case no matter which side of the fence we all are, because I think most people agree that this was a media based trial more than anything else. What happens to justice when media gets involved this much AND had pretty much made up their mind before trail started? I can also see that SP was convicted on circumstancial evidence - and that is just not good enough when sentencing someone to death.

Don't label the Supporters of Scott Please..Im married with kids and Several years older than Scott..I have never wrote Scott nor do I plan to..I would never Date an Inmate not my style even if I was single.. Im just a hardworking person that just happens to think that Scott got Screwed and the Media helped hang him..We have to change our attitudes about the Media coverage they are way to biased and don't hesitate to let people know how they feel..Which in return impacts other's opinions.
