Doing a show on Women who write DR Prisoners. I am a supporter of Scott, and one of the ones the media contacted. I had decided to talk to them, but could never reach an agreement with them about what the tone of the program would be. I told the media person I spoke to that I would do nothing and/or say anything that could be seen as negative towards SP. I told him I'd need affirmation that that would be the case and he dropped out of sight. I haven't been contacted since. I had changed my mind after talking to him anyway and would have said so had he been in touch after that. I had written to Scott telling him about the contact, but it was directly after that that Scott couldn't write any more. I was never offered money, and I would NEVER have taken it if I had been. Since I've had no personal contact with Scott since the incident I live in the fear he thinks I was one of the ones who sold him out. I am not one who would do something like that to someone I DIDN'T like, much less some one I care for. I only hope he knows I am not one of those awful people. I wish Scott knew I chose not too. Maybe he has read my mail telling him I did not do the program, unfortunately there's no way for me to know what he's thinking. Maybe the fact that I wrote and told him I was talking to the reporter showed him I had no ill intentions, I don't know. I can only hope  . Doing a show on Women who write DR Prisoners. Very sad for Scott that he can't even respond to his supporters for the sake of letters being sold or mis-used. Very sad. Isn't it all the guy has at this point? Really people, really. Amy Z.

Miles- I can't access your son's site. I am interested in what his case was about. I am sorry that you are going through this, I can't think of very many things that would be worse than seeing your child that way.

Dearest Miles, I researched your son's case, after reading it, I recall when all this took place, your correct that it did receive a lot of Media Attention due to your son's age. I have no idea what you must be going though, your Son was sentenced to life, without parole. For a 14 year old boy it seems like a rather harsh sentence. I'm glad he didn't get the DP. Is Josh at Stark? Perhaps this topic belongs on another thread? I'm sure we will get input from our Hosts. Regards to you & both Families ~wyld |

A 14 year old kid is in NO WAY capable of understanding the magnitude of his actions. OMG That is rediculous, there is no reason why they couldn't have given him a lighter sentence, and maybe some counseling. I don't know the case b/c I couldn't access the site for some reason, but Miles I am crying for you! What a terrible injustice. He was just a kid...

you r right. this case is not appropriate here. Suffice to say, that as much as the media would like to connect Josh sexually abusing Maddie, there is NO evidence of it. The Medical Examiner 'proved' that.

Truth, you are 100% correct.
My son's trial was international news. CNN, ABC, CBS, Geraldo, Larry King, Court TV (The entire trial was broadcast Live) and MANY others, so I get what you are saying.
7 years on, Josh gets HUGE amounts of mail. even today. Why? A few reason's. He's a very handsome boy and his case is extremely high profile.
Doesn't say a lot about society? If Josh was 4 foot 2 and ugly as hell, he'd never get ANY attention!

My god I am so very sorry I just read your son's page. I had not heard anything about his case but I live in California. I could not imagine having this happen. You must be a very very strong person.

I remember Josh's case... I turned 16 on novemeber 4th of 98. I was living in Ft.Pierce Florida and moving to Jacksonville ( orange Park ) at that time. I remember sitting in my car on the corner of Kingsley and Blanding crying my eyes out over the case. I couldnt believe that this little girl, Maddy could be dead and that Josh, a little kid himself... 3 years younger then me, could have done such a thing. I admit, I lived here in Jax for 2 weeks. I moved back down south and I have always said that the Josh case had a little to do with it. With Josh's case constiently in the face of the poeple here, I felt smothered and very uncomfortable that something like this happened so close to home. I dont believe that there was any way possible that Josh did what he was convicted of and if he did, well he didnt do it alone.... I have owned a water bed and being Josh's size, it was next to impossible that he could have put Maddy under there. I read Josh's site and am sorry about hearing about the death of his father. I know how that feels losing a parent at a young age. I havent ever written to Josh, maybe because I moved away and didnt want to be reminded of such a terrible thing. I feel very deeply for his family though, and if his mom reads this xoxoxoxoxox to you, you are a very couragous woman and u stand by your son. A mothers love for her child is more powerful then any force on this earth. I admire you. If you ever need anything or just wanna sit and have some coffee, lemme know anytime, Im here for you and aplogize for not being here for you sooner.

I think Scott Peterson has a lot of people fooled. And the nerve of him to post his dead wife picture on the net, is very inconsidered of him, imagine how her family must feel. And the fact he has his own site, when other prisoners don't have their, not any access to the net. Who does he think he is, he is not special. And further more I think the man is guilty and should die in prison....you ripe what you sow... prsioners never have any access to the net and neither has Scott of course...with the websites here its like this...prisoners write to ccadp and ask for a website...and well they receive their own website... EVERY DR prisoner can write CCADP to have a website set up... so Scott Peterson was not treated like a "special person" here... Mo-DAWG |

I don't know why it shocks me when people sell out another. When I read Scott's message, how sad it was for him to write someone, then to find out they sold the letter. I feel it would have been a good thing for Scott to be able to write others. Hear what others feel about his case. That was taken from him as well.
I hope someday he will be able to trust again.
