Hi,
my name is Lauren and I live in the UK.
I came across this site a while back & it seems like an awesome organisation who do some excellent work!
I'm 100% against the death penalty, luckily we dont have it here in England. I didnt realise how many innocent people have been executed & how many innocent people are on D.R. until I came across this site, it's definitely opended my eyes to a lot of things!
I do write to someone who was taken off death row, I've only been writing for a short while but I cant imagine how painful it must be to lose someone to the death penalty.
I wouild love to hear peoples opinions.
Lauren x

Hey,
Thanks for the replies & making me feel welcome! you seem like a great little community!
It's truly awful to hear how badly the inmates get treated and to read the stories of the inmates (especially the innocent ones) - I wish there was something I could do to help them.

Hi Lauren,
Welcome to the board.. You are doing something to help them, YOU'RE HERE!!! Speaking up so the world can see how we feel about what they are doing wrong. It gives the inmates strength to know they are not alone and it gives the world a different side to look and listen to!!
Hugs, Pam

Hi Lauren!
I'm from Norway and we don't have the death penalty here either. I've been an activist working against dp for about 8 years now, and it's been tough, although extremely rewarding. The work trying to raise awareness about the death penalty is carrying its own reward, although it sure feels hopless most of the time.
I'm glad to see you here and I'm looking forward to get to know you better as time goes.
Take care! Hope to see you here often!
Love, Turid

Is BNP a political party or an organization? I rather like the Labour party and I really enjoy watching Prime Minister's Questions. I am not sure about the Conservative Party.
