Hi Tasha, good to meet you too Where abouts in Australia are you? My sister has been in Sydney for 20 years, it's a great country, I lived there for a year in 1985. I found the CCADP site last October and was flabbergasted at whats going on in the States. Like yourself I knew about the death penalty but when i learned the facts.. it's really f >:(n terrible how these people are treated I read heaps of pen-pal requests and thought about what a big commitment it would be to write to a death row prisoner, it was'nt something i did on impulse. Anyway in Nov.04 i started corresponding with a guy in UCI Florida and i am so glad i did .He is a lovely man i 'm pleased to call my friend It really brightens my day when i hear from him. As i said in a previous post i'm not brilliant on the PC yet but am learning fast coz i'd like to set up a web-site in the hope of helping draw attention to his case. Are you thinking of writing to someone? Look forward to hearing from you, love Mo.

Mo Just found your reply to my intro.... I live in Perth WA... Have traveld all around Australia, and have a lot of friends in Sydney.....
Iam 100% against the dp, to me its Murder, straight up....Mo you said that you write to a dr prisoner, I think thats great, I have actually written a letter to a prisoner in Cali, but havnt sent it... The main reason Ive not sent it is, I want to send the prioner stamps, but I dont have a credit card, so not sure how to buy stamps for him..... Iam also a little worried that as a married women with 6 young children, he might not want to write to me...
I know this is just silly excuses and I will send the letter off to him, its something Ive wanted to do since I found out about dr... I didnt know that men/women had to wait years in a cage, only allowed out 1 hr a day, till finally being Murdered. I dont know what I thought happened but, it was not this...
Looking forward to getting to know you better MO
Tasha

Hi Tasha, I'm sure this guy in California would love to hear about your family, it would be a form of 'escapism ' for him to read what you and your boys get up to in ordinary day to day living- give him a taste of family life.Without a credit card it's difficult;I've sent money to death row through Western Union but it costs $17 to send $35 (US$) I wish there was another way coz i'd rather my friend got the commission than a multinational company..... I think you can buy US postage stamps, again online, the prisons are quite strict, anything being sent in has usually got to come direct from a reputable company....Go on post that letter and make someones day Don't worry if you can't send anything else, most of these guys are just happy to receive mail. Talk to you again soon, love Mo.
