$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ For Death... And considering Max Clifford is representing them, Kenny can expect to earn in MINIMUM of £1,000,000. Max doesn't 'do' small-fry. If he's innocent, after 18 years on the row, he DESERVES the money! WELL DONE KAREN & KENNY!!!!! ;D

The tragedies in this case is that a little girl died in an accidental fire. The other tragedy is that Kenny LOST 20 years of his life.
Media are interested in his story and rightly so. So no one is making money out of anyones misfortune. Its his own misfortune after all.
Wouldnt you want to tell your story if you where wrongfully convicted and sent to death row for 20 years of your life?

And not be chased by people who want to make money from tragedy. AND if I did get money, Iwould give it ALL to a fund for the people killed in that fire for scholarships in fire prevention, engineering, and construction, so better buildings could be designed.

I assure you if you had been convicted of something you did not do and spent even half the time Kenny has on death row you would not want to remain quiet at all.
And how do you know there isnt some trust fund being set up for some charity?

I think it is mean to even question whether or not a wrongly convicted person should get some kind of compensation. OF COURSE they should be compensated, and when they do, it is not anyone's business how they spend their money. Kenny should not have been sentenced to death in the first place. But he was. He has paid a terrible price for miscarriage of justice. It is beyond comprehension how someone could even think he shouldn't be compensated for that. No money in the world can ever give him back what the State took from him. Kenny should live the rest of his life without a care in the world as far as financial issues go.

Trust me, EVERYONE here in the UK knows who Max Clifford is. They know his reputation, and know he NEVER takes on a case that isn't HUGE $$$ or £££. Let me do a conversion for you all: £1 million in US $$$ is (according to: www.xe.com/ucc/): $1,818,518.16 Kenny can enjoy the rest of his days in LUXURY!! GOOD FOR KENNY!!!! ;D ;D ;D ;D and to those that don't like it:

Still is BLOOD MONEY from other people's tragedy...Just like a Clinton landslide...Passed with one more vote... look Mike..even if ya call it blood money its definitely not HIS fault and he really deserves something for the time he had to endure in prison...it´s the states fault who put him in prison and wrongfully convicted him..he has no blood on his hands..you could also say each and every movie on a crime story is blood-money, each reporter making accident-pics makes blood money, the gun-producers make blood money, the entire war-machinery makes nothing but blood money.... why not blame the rest of them too why ya just blame HIM? i mean...call it whatever you want..it´s HIS money and he has a right to make it and nobody will care what kind of money some people call it...it buys the same things as every other money...know what i mean? if ya talk about morals then start with the state who conviced him... Still is BLOOD MONEY from other people's tragedy...Just like a Clinton landslide...Passed with one more vote... No - you are wrong. Whatever compensation Kenny gets is from his OWN tragedy. You know - spending most of his life locked up for a crime he didn't commit. That is HIS tragedy. I don't understand how you can call it blood money. Do you think it is right that someone spends 18 years for a crime they didn't commit? Do you feel justice was served because he wasn't executed - so never mind that they locked him up and almost threw away the damn key?? Do you envy him?
