PHOENIX (AP) — A former stripper accused of luring Rick Chance to his death has testified against her former boyfriend, who is accused of shooting the auto glass entrepreneur and stealing $1 million of his jewelry.
Brandi Lynn Hungerford, 28, was allowed to plead guilty earlier to second-degree murder and armed robbery in exchange for her testimony against Robert Donald Lemke II, 27, who is charged with first-degree murder.l
"I pleaded guilty because I participated in the robbery of Rick Chase," Hungerford testified Thursday in Maricopa County Superior Court.

She said Lemke planned the slaying, adding that she was going to use her share of the money they made from selling the jewelry to replace a car she had totaled.
If convicted, Lemke could face the death penalty. Hungerford faces 10 to 22 years in prison.
Chance, 44, of Paradise Valley, started Empire Glass company in 1982 and starred in his own TV ads for the windshield replacement service.
Prosecutors believe he was lured by Hungerford to a hotel in Tempe where Lemke is accused of shooting him in the chest, taking his satchel of jewelry and leaving him to die in 2002.
Hungerford testified that Lemke asked her to reply to newspaper ads Chance took out to sell Rolex watches. She said that she did not know Chance was dead until she was questioned by police in Tacoma, Wash., where she and Lemke were caught days after the shooting.
