I said on this board when I first joined that it was the Scott Peterson case that changed my mind on the DP.... but it wasn't JUST Scott Peterson.... it was the all the things I've learned the last two years, and the CCADP site was a big part of that. I have learned so much that I have hope that others can learn too, and for that reason I say keep it open.
If somebody comes to bash, then they can be banned. If somebody comes to learn.... then we can help them ;D

Not necessarily. It depends on the individual case and it depends on your idea of what constitutes justice. Personally speaking, my idea of what justice looks like is entirely different to the US legal system. I agree with the likes of Plato, Aristotle and Socrates, in that I think the adversarial system is primitive and stupid. The courts' main job is to reward the cleverest arguments and not to discover truths. Cheers, Eddie Eddie, Awesome post... I snipped for space only. The last paragraph I agree with so much...... I can't even begin to tell you. The justice system in the US, in my opinion, has gotten to the level of a sport. Turn on CTV and you will think you are on ESPN for lawyers. It is so disgusting. President Bush makes me want to puke. Sanctity of life my azz. He is the biggest hypocrit I have ever seen. I'm sorry to have to say that. As an american, I am ashamed. Normally I wouldn't bring politics into an internet forum, but this is international, so I want people to know I do NOT agree with our president.... sorry to say.
