gjones; I don't understand. Typing? Umm; I cut and pasted the news article here; when I was posting it and all kinds of other news articles in the news section.
Is there a reason you feel the need to be rude? I don't think I have been rude to anyone.

Amber Frey is the most disqusting human being. I think if people actually thought about the type of person she really is, no one would bother to talk to her. First of all, she slept with Scott Peterson on the first date. Secondly, after the whole "other woman" thing, she said she is not going to let the whole incident discourage her trust in men. Well, she proved the she could trust another man again. Apparently she became pregnant not long after the interview. What a trollop! Now, since her book flopped ( ;D ), she needs money so she is holding seminars about how she made transitions. In a most fitting simile: Amber Frey is like a sexually transmitted disease that everyone hopes will just go away. [/quote]
Man, This was not a very nice thing to say. First of all, I doubt very much that you have ever met Amber Frey and second I also doubt very much that as a man you have never tried to sleep with a women on the first date, so let's not go there. Why are you judging her actions when she wasn't the one cheating on her pregnant wife? Regardless of what kind of person you think she is, she has a right to earn a living and she is making money off of something that she was DRAGGED INTO she did not seek out this conflict in her life and since she is the one who lived through it she gets to choose how she uses it. Furthermore, she did come out for the right reasons and anyway what would have happened to her if they found out about her without her coming forward first? She was just as vulnerable of being accused as Scott was. Have some compassion. ~mhdubuha

Novstorm, Wow!! please explain to me why you spent all of this time writing your remarks? It must have taken quite awhile. I am not sure what kind of a person Amber is but I don't see any reason to put her on a pedestal or to dislike her. She is just a person who got caught up in the middle of a firestorm. She didn't start it or she didn't end it. Personally I was just checking out the site and don't even remember how I came upon it. Apparently it is alright for anti death penalty people to post or say anything degrading about Amber but it is not alright for pro death penalty people to say anything that may offend. I have not spend a lot of time in chat rooms because I can't believe people can be so rude. A lot of people in the rooms think it gives them license to say what ever awful thing comes to mind. You are lovely and extremely wise and I adore what you just said. Thank you- mhdubuha

I think everyone has a right to their comments, but to resort to name calling? Lets be adults, come on! Everyone writes a book these days, I'm thinking about writing one myself ;D

I have never met her--nor do I want to. I don't need to meet her--her promiscuousness speaks for itself. The reason I criticize her is I think she has little room to speak. She may have been DRAGGED into this situation--but SHE is KEEPING herself there. If it was such a horrible situation for her, you would think she would let it go and fade into oblivion, right? I have absolutely NO compassion for her.

I was just pointing out that there seems to be a double standard when in comes to men being promiscuous vs. women doing it, be honest, can you really say that you are as pure as snow? You are right however, about her keeping herself there and I do understand what you are saying, but be open minded about what I am saying too... Things happen to people in their lives and sometimes it leads to a way of making money, I am NOT saying that you have to like it, just that maybe you don't have to view it so negatively. I think we all do things in our lives that are not things we are proud of I wouldn't want to put mine out into the world and try to make money off of it, but that just makes me more private than her. I feel sorry for her b/c she was in such a state when she met him and that made her more vulnerable to him. Maybe you need to be female to understand. I don't really know, but I hear you about her staying around after the flames die down and can see why this is annoying to you ~mhdubuha

Amber Frey has since become pregnant and had pondered the idea of posing for Playboy. Now, that in itself is not horrible--but, she was originally in the media's spotlight because she was having sex with a man that killed his wife. It seems that everything about her is carnal. That kind of makes her look bad, don't you think?

Oh yes, I agree with that very much, but you were being a bit vicous and I automatically want to defend a women's right to sleep with whoever she wants whenever she wants to. It's only fair, men can do it. She is defenately not doing herself any favors by putting herself soooo far out there, but again she has a right to do so if she wants to... Be honest if she was in Playboy you would at least look... HA HA HA HA !!!

Remember Lots of People buy trashy magazines and books. If you read their lies, you support it. Ambers book as well as Anne Birds Book, are strictly what they view as "the truth". Smut and Lies are hot sale items. I personally don't buy in to those types of books, especially those books that profit from someone Else's heartache and suffering. I took the time to sit and read the court transcripts, its a long "BOOK" But worth reading. And I read the threads here, and then i go back and search through the court transcripts all over again. I would recommend all of you interested in this case to do just that, don't base what you KNOW on what you read in the media, or on the NEWS.... seek it out yourself.... its all there! I need to start my own book..... Not too sure that my life would sell though, its too clean! ;D ~wyld

A lot of the Court Transcripts were posted in the Modesto Bee as the trail took place, and they are also posted on the Modesto Bee (Newspaper) website.. Video's as well as Transcripts are posted. From what I can tell, its all still there. Alls you have to do is access the site and register, and you can read for hours and hours...There is an icon (picture of Laci) towards the bottom of the main page that will take you to everything. www.modbee.com/~wyld
